Most user reviews have the same problem where it doesn't foam up as much. I followed the instructions as closely as I can and it had a medium amount of foaming action but not as much as I expected. I think the step to have a "pencil thin amount of water flowing nearby" is probably a critical part and you really have to dial in the flow just right.That said it made my formerly very stinky sink NOT STINKY and it hasn't re-stunk since I last cleaned it! For me, even with the lukewarm foaming action, that makes this worth it's weight in gold. Maybe it will do an even better job if I can get it to foam up more, but I really couldn't be happier.I had tried every other approach to sink cleaning prior to this and nothing worked or was only temporary, but one use of CLR has lasted me about three weeks now. It doesn't have that weird of a chemical smell when you use it and the smell goes away quickly.I know everybody has a different situation but all I can say is that it cleaned up my sink's garbage disposal very well. If you are at your wits end with a stinky sink, CLR is worth a shot.

Some of the cleaners you got are hard and sound terrible. When you put them in the disposal, which makes me afraid I’ll break it or something. These pouches when you place them in the disposal, they release foam. Let it sit and rinse it away. Works well, seems cleared after using and water flows more freely.

So disappointed! The tabs did not work at all. Literally money down the drain. Followed directions completely (it’s not the first time I’ve used disposal cleaners - I usually use the “Plink” brand and wanted to try something different). Absolutely nothing happened. No foaming action, no fragrance, NOTHING. The disposal just ground it up in a matter of seconds. I thought maybe it was just a defective tab. Tried another one the next day. Same thing. What a waste of money!!

I recently started using these once a week in my disposal and I follow the instructions to a T every time. This last bag I purchased were all duds. They didn't foam up at all. It just stayed in the bottom of my disposal and didn't actually clean anything and I've noticed a bad odor coming from the disposal. The instructions say to run the disposal for a full minute prior to using the pod and then turn off the disposal. Then reduce the stream of water to a "pencil width", put the pod in and then turn on the disposal. I follow these directions every time and it's hit or miss whether it foams up and cleans the disposal. I might have to swap to another brand if this keeps happening. I'm tired of wasting my money.
