Baby Giggles

We prefer Baby Colors by the same author, but this is a great addition if you already have that one. This one is full of more cute baby faces surrounded by bright colors. The reason I don't like this one as much is rather silly I suppose, but there is a picture of a really cute baby in a ballet outfit and she is picking her nose. My 1 year old can already point to her nose, but I'd rather her not develop a habit of picking her nose to get laughs. The book says "don't pick your nose" in a lighthearted way, but my daughter thinks it's funny so sometimes does it anyway. I still give the book four stars out of 5 because all of the babies are adorable and my daughter loves the book.

I like this book and read it to my daughter a couple of times a week. The bright colors, hard board pages, and baby photos keep her entertained from cover to cover. The number one negative in this book is that it shows a baby picking her nose. That is gross and in very poor taste. I just skip that page every time when I read the book. I still like the book but feel it would have been a better book if the author would have left out the nose picker.

I love, love, LOVE this book. It has been daughter's favorite book since her first birthday. The story is very easy for an infant/toddler to understand and the rhythm of the story inspires your child to become a reader. My daughter is almost 2 now and everyone who knows her (including her) has this book memorized because we love it so much! The photographs in the book are terrific. We liked it so much we also bought Baby Colors by the same author!

Book was in very poor condition. I paid over $11 but when I got the book I saw the retail was $6.99.

This was a favorite for our kids when we first started reading to them. One of the only books that they had us read over and over and over again. We lost it during a move, and when we had another baby we decided to buy another copy. Our older kids still think it's cute to hear.

This is the first book our baby has loved. Something about rock n' roll baby and the rest that makes his fingers go thru the book and grab it again and then again. It renders its reader delightfully captive of its gorgeous pictures and colors, each page a theme and color. There is a baby picking its nose, and I digress to note that babys do pick their nose and it is good to teach them, "don't pick your nose".

I saw this book in the store and was so taken with the beautiful pictures that I just had to buy it! I made the excuse that I was getting it for my daughter for Easter, but honestly I kind of got it for myself. Both my 8 month old daughter and 4 year old son love looking through the book at all the cute babies and the little "story" is really cute, too. Very well written and again just breathtakingly beautiful pictures.

Great book if your kid loves looking at other kids like mine does! We read this one pretty much every day, and also the other book by the same author "Baby Colors". Short easy phrases so you can easily read it by the time he's ready to turn the page. We got these when he was 10 mos. and now he's 1 and still loves them.

My son likes the baby colours version of this book so I got this one. It was a little more used and rough looking than I thought but it was alright for the price. I just washed it up well.
