A great adaptation to a child’s storybook

I can't recommend this book enough! It's such a great (true) story, with beautiful illustrations. It teaches an important part of history, and teaches about diversity, and acceptance. I enjoyed this as an adult, and it's equally enjoyable for kids, and grandparents too. Such an important book.

Great book for kids to learn about the refugee story, discusses war so maybe not suitable for kids under 4 years of age but it teaches alot about resilience.
