Easier than people make it seem, saved iPad
Excellent, easier to install than online made it seem. My mom’s iPad wouldn’t even work without being plugged in but now holds a full charge. For the money is worth It since Apple charges more than the iPad 2 is now worth.

battery is defective
I received a battery and it wouldn't charge past about 30%. The replacement that I then received won't charge last 23%. These batteries must have been sitting for a really long time... I am returning my battery and I don't recommend this product. Additionally, the iPad air 2 screens are VERY difficult to take off the ipad. 99% chance you will crack your screen, unless you have a lot of practice replacing ipad screens. I recommend using a professional replacement company instead of DIY.

Battery failed in two days but they made it good in two days!
Appeared good but after two days it would not hold a charge! I returned the bad battery and received a replacement in two days. The new battery functions fine. I gave it four stars because I had to do it twice, but the service was exceptional!

It’s a great battery

No Instructions included
Just received this yesterday and installed it today. You would think they wold include an instruction sheet on how to do this. I had to look up instructions online at ifixit.com. Thankfully I could figure it out. Works on day one but can't judge battery life yet.

Great kit, has everything you need.
This took care of a very old iPad battery that wad beyond is lifespan. Replace with a screen replacement. Recommend doing it this easy due to having to remove the glass.

Good battery but hard to change
The battery fits perfectly fine. It holds a charge much better than a worn out battery. The tools it comes are okay but it might worth it to invest in higher quality tools. The adhesive is not the best but seems to hold up okay. The biggest issue is the instructions that came with it. The instructions are not very clear and come in very small print. I recommend searching for videos or going to ifixit.com for detailed instructions.
