We painted a small area in our kitchen with chalkboard paint and got chalk markers. The chalk markers left a stain on the chalkboard paint. You can only use "sidewalk chalk" or "school chalk" with chalkboard paint. We got this chalk board to be able to use our chalk markers. I love the distressed white wood finish around the frame, which is very sturdy. It looks great against our white wall. We also take it down and bring it to the dining table when we have family meetings and want to write down what is going well, problems/solutions, and our schedule. It works very well to write up the family meeting notes and post them on your wall so everyone sees the plan. Much better than in a notebook that gets closed up or on a piece of paper that clutters up your table.

I really like this chalkboard, and I’m picky. The rich undertones of the wood frame give it a little rustic flair while still blending in with a variety of design styles. It’s a quality-made board. I haven’t used actual chalk or chalk markers on it yet as I’ve gone with magnetic letters. If I were being picky, (which I am), my only complaint would be that the wood has somewhat of a blemish (pictured), but I kinda like how it makes it feel a little more authentic and unique. The chalkboard was packaged and shipped very well and the protective film on the chalkboard was pre-cut, so all I had to do was peel it off. It includes hanging hardware which allows vertical or horizontal hanging. It’s pretty close to perfect, especially considering the competitive price.

I waited to review until I had bought nice chalk. It's affordable. The frame is the nice distressed white, rustic look I wanted. It's magnetic just like it says. I haven't tried to hang anything but a couple magnets from it but it seemed to work just fine. Today I tried writing on it with Crayola chalk and wiping it clean with a dry microfiber cloth that came with it and it was perfect. I didn't have to write hard at all and it wiped away clean. My husband said it was easy enough to hang after work one day with no issues. I'm happy with it!

Makes a nice accent for special events. Need some good elbow grease to remove chalk pens but otherwise would be fine with regular chalk.

I was looking for a magnetic chalkboard to spice up a wall at my rustic cabin. This was perfect & exactly what I was looking for, in the size I wanted. It was a bit of a splurge as I was only looking to spend $20-25 for one but it's is a nice quality so I'm happy. The frame color is alittle darker and has a slight gray look to it that doesn't show up in the picture, but since I have many different colors of wood in my cabin, it wasn't enough of an issue to return it. I do love it, so does everyone who has seen it so far. Came fast in Prime, no damage, packaged very well. I would order again from this vendor.

I am very satisfied with my purchase! It wipes completely clean, which is such a hard quality to find in a chalkboard. Often times, you see a residual shadow left from chalk, but not this one! & they even include a little towel to wipe it off. Nice touch! The quality is great- I hung this in my kitchen as a menu board for the week, but have used it for multiple uses... Scripture, quotes or little notes to remind myself. This also acts as a magnetic surface. I will say, that the magnets that were included were not very made, they fell apart right after I took them out of the bag. But, really that wasn't a big deal for me. I just used some other ones I had on hand. Overall, very happy with how this turned out.

This chalkboard is exactly what I wanted. Good quality and it looks expensive. The frame is beautiful and well-built. It came packaged really well and in perfect condition. I looked around A LOT before getting this one because I wanted something that was good quality. I've had chalkboards in the past get ruined because they were porous so when I seen this one was 100% non-porous, that sold me. I plan to use it for our weekly meal plan, Birthday parties, entertaining (wifi password for guests), etc... I'm always re-decorating so I will continue to add more photos. Pretty pleased with the appearance of this chalk board. One corner was a touch damaged but not very noticeable. Looks great in my kitchen and my grandchildren had fun drawing on it! Good value for the price!
