I’ve been using this hat for 2 months now so I can finally give an honest review. Overall I find the hat easy to wear and comfortable. I enjoy that it folds in half so I can stick it in my backpack. You can tighten the top to fit your head better. The sweatband, though, is a little annoying and needs to be tucked in. The cord that allows you to have it hanging on your back can also be annoying but I tie it to the piece that tightens the top part of the hat so it’s out of the way. For $11 I can’t complain too much and it keeps the sun off me so it gets the job done. I wouldn’t recommend if you, let’s say, work outside every day and need a sun hat. But for gardening, hiking, boating etc. It’s perfect!

Son needed a good hat for summer camp and scout outings - got the green color and it matches. Keeps sun off 95% of his face so we are thrilled.

Hat fits a variety of head sizes. Hat seems to be very well-made. A little bit too wide of a brim for me but my wife plans to use it for outdoor work in her flowers and garden. I'll probably wear it for fishing as it will keep the sun off my ears!

I'm in architecture and I visit sites regularly, since I bought this I never left the house without it. Works beautifully to reduce the sun exposure to my face and given the wide brim it extends the coverage to my neck as well, depending on the angle of the sun. It's as described, breathable, easy to wash and has an adjustable head band and neck strap. For the Afro women with a lot of hair, you will have to do you hair in a way that can allow the hat to sit fully on your head to benefit.

fits well for outside work to protect years from sun

Simple affordable hat. I actually had my eye on another, but it wasn’t going to be shipped in time for my vacation. This hat ended up taking me through a week long island journey. It was absolutely amazing. I wore it 24/7 and neither my face, scalp, or neck were burned even after being in the sun all day. Chin strap is super sturdy held up in 18 mph winds!

The hat that came has a wider brim and a shallower crown that doesn't keep its shape. I'll use it until I find something I like but what I liked about the hat I ordered was its shape.

Bought this hat for a Halloween costume which is fine. But I'd never actually wear this hat. It's cheaply made and stiff. Very odd and disappointing.

Not quite what I was after, but then it's difficult to see over the internet...the pictures are similar, but clearly different to the hat I received.

Unfortunately they break the brim by folding the hat in half instead of sending it flat, so in effect hat looks shoddy even when new.
