I got this box to hold the overflow from my travel palette, which only holds 17 colors. I can switch out colors as needed and keep the extras in here. I love the little magnetic strips on the bottom of the half pans and they actually hold the pans well to the metal. It's fairly lightweight, and sturdy enough for my purposes. And the designs are so cute.
