Fantasic wireless extension for your doorbell
This extender works great, and was easy to setup. The sensor unit just needs to lay on top of your existing doorbell chime. It senses vibrations of the ringing, and then extension speaker chimes. I mounted the chime above a hallway door frame, on the end of a white extension cord, so we completely forget it's there until it rings. If I had a corner in which to run the extension cord, it would be truly invisible. I think the best part is that you have the flexibility to move the extension chime around so you get the most sound for your needs. If the bedroom door is closed, and the TV is running, I don't hear the extension, so it isn't super loud. If you need to hear inside a bedroom you can mount the ringer directly to a wall outlet, and just move the ringer unit around as needed. Or buy a sender/ringer set, along with multiple ringer extensions.

Super easy to install!
Wow - literally pulled it out of the box, stuck some AAA batteries in it, placed the transmitter on top of my chime box, plugged in the wall unit in the basement, and it immediately worked! This thing exceeded my expectations as I was pretty skeptical. Only wish is that the unit was louder. But alas it will do the trick!

I use for remote doorbell
This is the second one of its kind that I have purchased. First one fizzled out, but it lasted almost 11 years so I guess that's not too bad. It helps me hear my doorbell when I'm in finished basement room on opposite side of my house. Works great!

Do Not Buy This Item
I really needed something that would make the doorbell louder as I am hard of hearing even with hearing aides. This sounded like the right thing. It installed easily enough and seemed to work until it stopped working. Yep! It stopped after the return window closed. So now I think I have a piece of garbage. Take my advice and pass on this item.

Couldn't Live Without It
Although, I have a fairly large apartment, I spend most of my time in the bedroom, where I have my office. As a result of the pandemic, I have like many people increased my online buying so that things can be delivered to my home. Unfortunately, my doorbell is in the living room, and I am unable to hear it when I am in the bedroom where I spend 90% of my time when I am home. Prior to getting this, if I had a delivery that needed to be signed for and the mailman, UPS, FedEx whoever rang the doorbell, unless I was in the living room I wouldn't hear. Consequently, I missed a lot of deliveries, and often found myself having to go to the Post Office, or other delivery company and pick it up. Since having installed this, which by the way is really easy, I haven't missed one delivery because I didn't hear the doorbell. I wished I had gotten one of these much earlier. However, I didn't even know such a thing existed. One word of caution, from my experience, these aren't terribly loud. I'm not sure that I would hear it if I wasn't in my bedroom. But then, if I were not in my bedroom, I would probably hear the regular doorbell.

I was skeptical but it works really well.
I have a house with a basement and cannot hear the doorbell from the basement unless I'm right by the stairs. I bought this hoping it would be a really easy fix and it was. All I had to do was put the transmitter on top of my current doorbell speaker upstairs and then plug in the receiver unit downstairs. I haven't missed the doorbell yet, it works great.

Barely functional extender
Wasn't sensitive to the existing buzzer. Even placed on top it didn't always send a signal. The chime had little volume even at full volume and when standing right in front of it, it was weak. I also bought the Hampton Bay unit which used 4 batteries. It came 3 days earlier so I was used to that and this IQ unit just didn't match the quality. Returned it and hoping to find a wireless Hampton Bay chime that ill respond to the extender I already have. That would be perfect for me

Easy installation - adjustable sensitivity - pleasant chime
I bought this for an elderly relative. She tends to keep the TV turned up loud and can't always hear her doorbell. Installation couldn't be easier, I simply stuck the pickup transmitter on the wall above the doorbell with double sided tape (included) and installed 3 aaa batteries (not included). Then plugged in the receiver in her family room. Simple as that. The sound it defaults to is a pleasant westminster series of notes that lasts longer than the simple ding dong of her normal bell and it helps her distinguish it from TV noises and such. The volume is not real loud, even turned all the way up, but it is loud enough. One note, when I first installed it, it didn't seem to be sensitive enough to pick up the regular doorbell, but a quick review of the instructions showed there's a sensitivity adjustment for the pickup. I turned it about a quarter turn and it now works perfectly every time.I ended up buying a second one of these for her bedroom so she can hear the football throat her house. Both relievers work off of the same transmitter. Nice! Definitely recommended.
