LAUNCH OBD2 Code Reader CR319 Check Engine Diagnostic Tool with Full OBD2 Functions, Car Fault Code Reader, Supports Mode6 O2 Sensor and EVAP Systems

Bought this because the engine warning light came on in my wife's car and knowing it could be anything from emissions to a failure of a part so knowing what garages can be like for charging for these sorts of things so I got this to hopefully find out the cause and hopefully sort it. It was so easy to use just plug into the socket in the car and it powers up, a simple menu appears from which I selected scan vehicle which it did and came up with an emissions problem it then asked if I wanted to clear the fault which I did to see if it would reoccur when I restarted the car which it did not and has not up to now so problem solved in a matter of minutes. So pleased as a garage could have charged anything from 40 to a 100 pounds or more for a simple fix. So definitely satisfied with this purchase and its simplistic ease of use.

For the money…WOW! Had a Topdon that wouldn’t turn of the engine light on Land Rover. This did!

The code reader worked straight out of the packet for my 2017 Nissan X Trail. The MOT showed the engine light on due to an O2 sensor which the garage cleared prior to the MOT. The light came back on in a few hours after the test so I bought a few doses of fuel cleaner and put that through the fuel system, the light stayed on until I attached the code reader. It identified the fault and I was then able to clear it so far the light has stayed off. Already saving me money!

Bought as i wanted to upgrade from an older OBD reader which is over 13 years old, i plugged in and it read the fault and then when i selected erase it said erase complete but it did not remove the fault, i tried numerous times and nothing, i then plugged my cheap old unit in and it erased first time. Sent back for refund. I would recommend paying a little more for a better unit.

Awesome and bought to diagnose my Ford Focus MK2.5 (2010) easy to use for those like me who have very little knowledge on faults. Have good reading of fault code with a narrative of issue and I managed to clear codes very easily to prevent limp mode so I could get to the garage. Saved £45 by not needing a garage diagnostic for diagnosis of fault. I simply Informed the local handy mechanic of fault so the fix was done straight away. No issues since 👍
