great product
Great product, very easy to use and no assembly. The rail is very sturdy so I don't have to worry about my son falling off. We purchased this product for a captains bed that didn't have a boxspring. Definitely would recommend, especially if you don't have a boxspring as most bedrails require one.

Don't believe the people who say it fits a toddler bed!
A couple of other reviews talk about this product working with a toddler bed even though the description says twin or queen, so I ordered it. Big mistake. It does not fit a toddler bed! Maybe the other reviewers and I have different definitions for "toddler bed." The instructions for my little guy's crib says it converts to a toddler bed by removing a rail, so I'm referring to something that uses the same mattress as a crib. It definitely requires at least a twin size mattress as stated in the item description. This one stays in the garage for a while.

Not safe enough
Its low set. If a pillow gets beside it, its not hard to roll over the pillow and then over the rail. Its short when on a full or queen bed. I feel that I have to have two side-by-side on each side.

You may get what you pay for
The user photos for this item show the rail installed incorrectly, and I don't beleive there is any safe way to install this rail on a convertable crib. It may be fine for a twin, full, or queen bed and was fully assembled and very easy to set up. But it is rather flimsy and I wouldn't sleep well knowing it may not hold. The user photos are deceiving and should be removed. There is supposed to be 9" of clearence from the ends of the rail to the head and foot boards to prevent baby/toddler from being strangled.

Safe and Secure
When the product arrived the box said it was also available in pink, which I would have preferred but wasn't an option on Amazon when we ordered it. Oh well. We are using this bed rail without box springs. It's just between the bedframe and the foam mattress. Due to the type of frame we have we can't fold it down which is a pain, but no other bed rail would. We can't make the bed easily because of it, but it's not that bid of a deal. It's nice and long and our daughter hasn't had any problems getting used to being in a twin bed with the rail.

Nice and sturdy
This bedrail is just the right height and sturdy and was easy to assemble. I think it's a great buy.

Did not fit our Queen
We had to return the bedrail. The anchors were about 4 inches too short for our Queen sized bed.

Can do better.
They were easy to install, but are very difficult to put up and down. Awkward. They aren't all that sturdy either.
