Amana AMAR31TS1E 3.1 cu. Ft. Two Door Compact Refrigerator, Stainless Steel

I've had this for a week or so now and while it made a bit of a significant noise while it was initially cooling, it runs very quietly now which is beneficial as it's in my office. The freezer compartment is quite large - I can fit two stacked ice cube trays and several frozen box lunches and more if I wanted. The only reason I gave 4 stars for temperature control vs. five is there's no way to defrost the freezer without unplugging and letting thaw. It's supposed to self-defrost but I spilled some water there the first day and it's still rock-solid. The fridge portion is nice - had to remove the shelf to fit anything of height (yogurt container) but is plenty spacious. It 'looks' like a stainless front but it's really some sort of a hard-plastic-like finish, but it looks good and will hold up. Some have asked which side the hinge is on - on mine the hinge is on the right so opens from the left but instructions are provided to shift the hinge to the other side if you want. Happy with the product.

I’ve had the mini refrigerator for about a month now, and I’m so glad I went with this one. As previous customers stated one of the corners was bent when it arrived, but it was in the back and it was too bad to where I wanted to return it.Everything else looked great. Love the gray color.Let me tell you it holds a lot of groceries. That was the one thing I was iffy about when ordering online, but I am pleased with the size.

Have this in my workshop.. it is the perfect size to keep my beer cold and with the separate freezer it keeps the frozen hot pockets and stuff frozen.

After the first week, it broke down and I lost all the groceries inside it. Thank God for Amazon, who quickly gave me a full refund because Amana was no help at all. My friend has the same refrigerator and she loves it, I guess I was just unlucky but if you are thinking about getting this refrigerator GET IT FROM AMAZON AND NOT FROM AMANA STORE

It seems to work fine I haven’t had any problems with it during delivery though the delivery men drag the bottom and so I’m not sure if it got damage from that but it seems to work fine .

Bought this for my daughters dorm room. It was bigger than we expected and it was perfect for what she needed it for. Would buy again if we ever need another one.

This is a great 'little' refrigerator. Little being the keyword for the frig compartment. Tall bottles will not fit even if you remove a shelf, i.e. (Coffeemate, Salad Dressing, etc.) That being said, the Freezer is way larger than I thought it would be. Very pleased with my purchase

Got this fridge for the garage so I wasn’t too upset when it came with a dent in the front door. The outer box had a hole punched in it from shipping and handling.But, once I got it plugged in, it’s been up and running quietly and nice and chilly since. A great price for a brand name two-door mini fridge/freezer!
