AC Parts 3" W 14Ft Air Conditioner Decorative PVC Line Cover Tubing Kit for Ductless Mini Split Central Air conditioner & Heat Pump Systems

This duct set was purchased to provide cover for an amateur (ham) radio coaxial cable run into the attic of my house. The pricing and quality are good and all the pieces fit together well. The installation makes the job look like some professional installers were at work rather than a rank amateur like myself :0). I will purchase this set again if another similar installation is required.

My mini split runs 1/4 and 1/2 inch copper with 1/2 inch thick insulation on both lines. Did the math after attempting to install and realized I didn't give myself any room to budge. 2 inches of total insulation plus 3/4 total copper, plus 4 14 gauge wires and a 1/4 inch ID drain tube and you're left with almost no room for error in your length of copper and bend location. So if you're thinking about using the elbows I would have to suggest to get a 4" kit instead and have the wiggle room. I probably spent 12 hours installing 2 sets of this line hide. Doing it solo and having a lot of time on a ladder didn't help, but the 3" kit didn't help either. Should have gone with the 4 to save time and energy, but the 3" does look a little better / cleaner.The only plus side of having it be such a tight fit is that the lines basically snapped into the wall side U panel and the cover was only there to cover it, didn't really keep it in place, as the back side was already holding onto the lines since it was so snug.The unions / elbows, etc... are a proper bright white. The straight pieces are slightly off white / ivory. I don't think I would notice it as much if the unions / elbows weren't a different shade of white. But what do you expect when you're basically buying the cheapest option online by linear feet.Lack of connecting options and spare ones are expensive versus the kit price IMO.

Quality material, now my go to for this item!
