I purchased this for a cross country camping trip. So far, I have only tested it here at home. In my test, I found it easy to use.It appears durable and the water had no bad taste to it even after sitting in the container overnight. It comes with a spigot that worked well and didn’t leak. I could dump it emptying it quickly enough. I turned it upside down to dry before repacking it’s. Drying took longer than I thought it would, but it did dry thoroughly. I’m in Florida at the peak of our humidity, so that may be a factor.I was expecting an additional solid orange cap for transporting that was not included in the version I purchased. When I expressed my disappointment to the seller, they offered to send me one at no cost. Excellent customer service!!! They actually cared whether I was happy or not! That’s not very common these days.Overall, I think this has been a good purchase from a great vendor. I would buy again and recommend.

I was hesitant to try these as they arrived so compact. They worked great for our camping trip, once we figured out how to get them to seal completely. Pay very close attention to the nozzle application as it has to be perfect to not leak. Overall, we would recommend them.

Both these as a substitute for our 5 gal jug. The dispenser is absolutely crap. It closes ok but trying to use the spout is pointless because it can’t close enough to stop water from coming out. When trying to handle this thing (filled with “5gal” water), it’s like trying to carry a 25lb weighted pillow and has no stability. I was hoping at least the bottom would have stability and that spout wasn’t such a cheap plastic. On a side note, the images on the instructions show a carry strap and that wasn’t included.

I have tried at least 5 other versions from other companies. This is the best. Does not leak. Sturdy.But, i was promised last July to receive solid caps, but they was not sent. I need three. Too bad. Why. First, when moving the container, easy to open the valve. But, I intend to drill a hole and add a 1/2 inch barb so that it will be faster to drain the container. As in all other versions of theses containers, the drain is good for filling a cup with water, but too slow for transfer of the full 5.5 gallons.

You buying a value focused flexible, plastic water container. Be prepared to taste plastic and replace after several uses.

I've been using this to collect spring water and it's done great! 5gal lasts me about a week or less. I gave the sturdiness rating a 5/5, but I believe this item is intentionally not sturdy? not sure why that category was listed. It collapses for seamless packing. and it holds it's shape when filled with water/air. I installed a small screen on the spout to filter out small debris. Works great. Does what I bought it for. 5/5

It’s kinda difficult to use

Just remember to dry it out fully before storage. Works exactly as advertised. Don't be afraid to really push and pull on it to fold and unfold. Also, don't underestimate the weight of water. The larger sizes get pretty heavy when full.

We have used the collapsible water tanks for 2 weekend winter camping trips and they've been excellent. No issues and no complaints. They are easy to fill. No leaks and pour great. Will definitely recommend and purchase again.

I happened to order this specifically for a water supply during power outages this winter, when our well pump stops working.It arrived the day before we had a huge windstorm and lost power for 3 days! I had rinsed it out and filled it up, just in time. It holds a lot of water (5 gallons), the container did not smell at all, comes with a spout with an open/close lever plus a permanent screw on cap for when not in use. Not so heavy that you cannot lift it when full, and easy to fill in our laundry tub. We had water for making coffee (with generator for power), brushing teeth, drinking, etc.I will be ordering another one, and hubby has strict instructions NOT to take this on hunting and fishing trips! (Never to be seen again)

I like how it folds when empty. it's also stable and no leaks. it comes with a transportation cap and a flexible and extendable spout. You can attach all to the handle with the included plastic loop.
