Very nice straps
These straps seem to be well made. I used them for the first time a couple days ago. They worked pretty well. They support the hammock and occupants as they should but the lack of multiple loops as I have seen on other brands is a negative. I am attaching to oak trees which are about 12" to 16" in diameter. This does not leave enough strap to circle the tree twice but leaves the tale a little to long even when doubled back to the steel ring. This is just a happenstance of the hammock size, tree spacing and tree diameter. Every installation will vary slightly. My point is that the multiple loops would be very handy.

Tree Huggers from FiveJoy
We went back packing this weekend and used them. Not as handy as the one's our friends had but at half the cost I can deal with it!!It does take some practice to get the hammock up at the correct level and learn to configure the straps so they can adjust the tension on the hammock but I would give them a 4.5 out of 5.0 for the cost v ease ratio!Quality was great, and held our hammocks without issue.

Everything looks great and arrived quickly
Sure did. Got the hammock with bug net too. Everything looks great and arrived quickly. Can't wait to use them! Could be five stars but will have to try them first.

Stitching gave out!
To be fair, we might have exceeded the weight limit, but my husband and I were laying in the hammock together and started hearing little cracking noises, then CRASHED to the ground. The stitching on one side had completely given out. To improvise, we just tied a knot in the strap and put the S Hook in it. Works fine like that. 😀 (editing original post because I just saw that the weight limit was 600 pounds!!! We definitely did not exceed that! We're about 400 together! )

They worked better than expected
We had a chance to try out the Hammock Tree Straps. They worked better than expected. They are heavy duty, stayed snug in the tree and held the hammock at the position I needed. If I were to change anything, it would be to replace the "S" hook with a climbing grade aluminum carribeener (the "S" hooks can come out too easy when transporting the straps and potentially get lost - there were no issues with them at all while hanging the hammock). Overall I'm very happy with the straps.

Very sturdy. The nylon
Very sturdy. The nylon, stitching, and hooks are all heavy duty. I have only had the hammock up for a few days, but it seems like the straps will last a long time.

Stitching Broke
These look and feel sturdy and were easy to install. They were fine when my wife and kid were using the hammock together. However, when I tried the hammock with my wife, the stitching on one of the straps broke immediately. Together we don't exceed the weight limits published for both the hammock and the straps.
