Patriot Memory Trinity 64GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive, with Built in Type-A, Type-C, Micro-B Connectors for Mobile Device Compatibility

Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Very useful form factor, supporting traditional USB A, micro-USB, and USB C ports. Works with my PCs and Android Samsung Galaxy s7 Edge. Have not yet had a chance to try the USB C port, nor have I tested the transfer speeds. My only complaint is the lanyard loop is pretty tiny (approx. 1mm of clearance), so only very thin cords or metal rings can fit through it, and NO lanyard is included in the package. It would be better if the loop were bigger (at least 3mm of clearance), so you could fit it on a key ring or thicker cord, or a compatible lanyard was included (or both). I got around that by stealing a tiny metal ring, small enough to fit in the loop, from an old lanyard.

This is awesome in that it is tiny, and wicked fast when reading from a USB 3 port. I would give it 5 stars, except that the write time is a bit slow. Still, it lets me back up files from my PC (USB-C connector), transfer files to my tablet (micro USB connector) and lets me share files with friends that have an older PC with only a USB-A type connector. You kind of can't ask for more in my opinion. Definitely worth the price due to it's flexibility to connect to nearly anything.

I have a newer laptop which only has 2 USB A (standard ports) and a USB-C port. One of the USB-A ports is permanently dedicated to my wireless mouse, and sometimes the second one is occupied also. When I want to back up I can use the Type C connector to do it. It's very convenient.

Awesome item for people like me who have been USB/microUSB-based and barely stepping into the C world!Obviously, the USB 3.1 rating is for the standard USB side only. Micro USB only does USB 2 speeds. Have not tested speeds on the USB-C side but really, this item is mainly for it's usefulness and not a speed demon so I'm not subtracting stars for that.Also, it's not the kind of item you want to put on your necklace as you go paintballing. While it seems like it can take moderate abuse, by design, it is something destined to live in a desk drawer or a convenience pocket in a laptop bag.

I service PCs and Android devices, so this drive covers all the bases for connectivity. It's generous capacity further enhances its usefulness. Due to its size, I choose to keep it in a sealed container in my toolbag. Durability is difficult to judge. I intend to be careful with it and hope it lasts. Thus far, I've tested with a Samsung Galaxy S9, S7 Edge and Windows 7 laptop. No issues.

Bought couple of these in different capacities. All is working well and it's been months now. These are the best I could find regarding the speed and usability as it supports almost all the devices.

Great multi-purpose flash drive, and a great value. I don't know if it's the newer 3.1 format, but this flash drive transfers files much quicker than my 3.0 Sandisk flash drives. I also love the ability to use it on both my PC's and Nexus tablet.

I originally bought this to backup movie and book files.As a benefit, having more than one drive means my phones, computers, and tablets can also use them safely.I love this flash drive and the tiny notch that lets you put it on a necklace or lanyard to keep safe.

Slow slow slow should get 150mbs but got 40mbs

Works ok but unfortunately the speeds shown are not near what I'm getting, I used a normal USB 2 32GB flashdrive and this one to see if it was faster but no, it failed. I transferred an 8GB file and it took the patriot drive around 10 minutes to complete, while my old 32GB drive managed to transfer it in 6 minutes. The other part is when u see the drives little commercial on youtube it will show that the user plugs the drive into their android phone and says Data Storage but unfortunately the phone can't read the drive unless you use a USB OTG cable n then plugging the drive or having the phone rooted in order to make it work as shown in the video.

Ich habe den 128GB Stick vor etwas über einem Monat gekauft, gestern habe ich diesen zum ersten mal benutzen wollen und siehe da, geht nicht.Macht rein haptisch einen guten Eindruck, leider möchte ich auch Daten auf dem Stick von Rechner A zu Rechner B/Handy/Tablet oder sonst was transportieren.Und wenn ich den Stick nicht formatiert bekomme ist das kurz gesagt Mist.War wohl ein Montagsgerät.

Ich benutze den Stick mittlerweile seit einigen Wochen.Die Datenübertratgung zwischen unterschiedlichen Smartphones(Micro-B, USB Typ-C) und PC(USB 3.1) funktioniert schnell und "fast" tadellos. Denn bei mir öffnet sich unter Windows 7 jedes mal ein Fenster, welches einen auffordert den Datenträger auf Schäden zu überprüfen. Die kurze Überprüfung(Dauer ca. 5 Sekunden) hat bis jetzt noch nie einen Fehler gefunden. Danach konnte der Stick ganz normal benutzt werden. Ob dieses Fenster auch unter Windows 10 erscheint habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert.Des Weiteren trage ich den Stick als Schlüsselanhänger und würde mir darum wünschen, dass auch die Seite mit dem USB 3.1/Micro-B Anschluss eine Abdeckkappe erhält, um diesen besser vor Verschmutzung zu schützen(der USB Typ-C Anschluss hat eine).Da der Stick bis jetzt bei jedem Gerät(Smartphones, PC's, Notebooks) funktioniert hat, gibt es von mir 5 Sterne.Anmerkung am Rande:Wenn meine Familie, Freunde oder Arbeitskollegen den Stick im Einsatz erlebten und merkten, dass dieser aufgrund der 3 Anschlüsse an eine Vielzahl von Geräten angeschlossen werden kann, kam meistens nur die Bemerkung: "Ich glaub, ich brauch auch so einen..."Update:Die Aufforderungen(unter Windows 7) den Datenträger auf Schäden zu überprüfen erscheint nur dann, wenn der Stick zuvor an ein Android-Smartphone angesteckt war. Anscheinend hinterläßt Android spuren auf dem Stick die Windows nicht mag.

Prior to the the Trinity, I had been using multiple adapters to switch between my Type-C smartphone, Type-B Micro Tablet, and Type-A computer.This has been great for transferring files between all devices seamlessly. Transfer speed is adequate for my needs, I never expected something like this to be blazing in speeds to begin with.
