I bought this mailbox to use as a drop box within my store for our team members to lodge important materials when we are not there. It was bigger than I expected, but attractively designed, so that certainly overcame the size issue. However, the reason for my less than excellent rating is due to the very poor hinges. They are not secure at all - not even slightly! The hinges are mounted with some very flimsy screws and plastic plugs combination. Completely unacceptable for our application. A screwdriver and a few turns and anyone could open the mailbox and steal whatever they wish to.In order to solve this, I had to modify the hinges, by replacing them with rivets. Which meanrlt drilling out the holes to larger size to fit an appropriately sized rivet. To make it extra secure, I used washer on the inside around the rivets before fastening them in place. Now I feel much better about using the mailbox for the intended purpose.

This mailbox is modern, stylish, and large enough to fit several days of mail. This was exactly what I needed and the mounting instructions were very clear (this was my first time mounting anything).

Very pleased with my purchase as it met our need for a lock mailbox. Some children in the neighborhood were stealing/removing the mail out of the mailbox and at times would not receive important mail. I looked online for a solution and found this mailbox which has solved the problem. We now get all of the mail because the need for a key to open.I believe it was designed to be put on the side of the house, however as the attached pics show I was able to put it on a mailbox post next to the road. The top lid raises for mail to be deposited and closes to keep the weather out.I contacted the seller for a lost key and they were very helpful and easy to communicate with.If you have a need for a locked mailbox this may be the one for you.

I like the window on the mailbox it reveals when you have mail.

Used at our office for mail deliveries when we are not open. The box is smaller than expected and the lock very flimsy. If someone wanted to steal our mail, it would be a fast and easy process. The box is adequate for now, but we will definitely be upgrading to a sturdier mailbox soon.

The mailbox itself is fine. But, the 6 locksmiths & retailers I went to couldn't make an extra copy of the key. It's a blank they just don't have. If my residents loose their keys, this box is worthless as I can't get keys.It looks nice.

Mailbox was purchased to collect paperwork for our HR Director when she is not here. It hangs on the wall and is very out of the way and very secure. It is simple to use and eliminates lost, confidential paperwork. Great item and arrived quickly. Easy to install.

we purchased this for our HOA for tenants to drop their monthly checks. It is the perfect size and was pretty easy to install. It was great that it came with 2 keys so that more than one person has access. The letter slot is big enough for our needs and it is sleek so that it does not stand out too much. We have not had it long for me to be able to tell its durability.
