I used this product to replace a broken depth finder on my boat dash. Please see the before and after pictures. Installation of the hour meter was very straight forward. The hour meter fit right into the previous hole in the dash; perfect fit. Wiring was very straight forward once I located a switched power source. Make sure you do this so that the hour meter only powers up and tallies time when the engine is running. *I did not use the backlight wire. The tenths of an hour are accurate to 6 minute intervals. The overall appearance of the hour meter compliments my original white face dials very well. Passengers would not know that this piece was not a factory installed gauge. I've had the boat out a few times this summer and recorded over five hours of run time. The performance of this gauge makes it a very good value for the money. Maintenance intervals are much easier to keep track of. Stay up on your maintenance, and you'll be a happy boater.

Super easy installation, I replaced a in dash depth gage for the digital hour meter with a white background. The bezel was an exact mach on my boat. Works great 👍.

Easy to install. Should be OEM standard issue on all boats! Back lit and easy to read. Install was simple and straight forward.

Bought this to replace the mechanical one that failed in a JD 318. Fit perfectly and so far is keeping an accurate account of time used. Recommended.

This product worked well for one season. The hour counter seems correct and it matches my other gauges on my pontoon's dash. However, halfway through this boating season, there is now condensation inside the gauge and it no longer works. Although inexpensive, I'm now going to have to replace it with another one and hook it up to a power source to make the hour accurate prior to installation.
