what is the longest cabinet pull it works with?

I used the on up to 10" pulls so far. The ruler is 16" so you probably use it on pull with a hole spread up to 14"- 16". I am currently looking for a replacement ruler to us on pulls with a hole spread larger than 15"

Does this work for cabinet and drawer?

Yes. For accurate pacement you do need to accurately measure and do a little arithmetic
