Great Purchase
Ordered Grey size small. 5'3 125lbs Color is a little more on the brown side. The cuffs are a little tight but I'm sure with use that'll fix itself. Great quality comparable to Carhartt. Love the large pockets and fabric lined inner. Very warm with room for a hoodie underneath but I haven't needed one yet and the high where I am currently this week is 20F

Comfortable, warm, durable, and good looking
I can't find anything about the coat that I dislike..It's almost exactly the same as a Carhart that I also have, only it's $30 cheaper..It's a bit warmer than the Carhart too, it seems like, but feels slightly lighter weight-wise)...I am 6'1" and weigh 220 lbs. My build is long legged with an average torso heighth..I bought 2XL (which is my usual size) and it fits well. Loose enough to allow free movement (i.e. twisting at waist, bending at waist, reaching overhead) without looking baggy on me..A very good bargain. I bought the one that's kind of a root beer brown (I forget what they called it) and I'm going to purchase a couple of more for next year..Either navy or black, and a camo (if I can find one, those sell faaaaast!!) Good bargain on a high quality, durable coat..Recommend highly!!

Looking forward to the Wintry Weather 🐧
Size large 5'7", 140 lbs, good fit, roomy enough for layering, and working. Comparable to Ca-----t, at a fraction of the price. Sturdy construction, roomy hood, inside patch pockets, I would have preferred one zippered but the Velcro works, especially when wearing gloves. Follow up review coming after putting it through its paces after a few hours in some brutal New England weather. Follow up review: January 26 this coat withstood some brutal weather, with layering did not feel the biting winds Real feel zero. Did treat it with fabric waterproofing to deal with the mixed precipitation. Good work coat.

Great but the cut is very baggy
These are at least as good as the competition, for cheaper. If that's what you like I would strongly recommend it. Pros: - seems very durable - definitely warm - looks good - very useable hood, which is rare - 2 inside pockets Cons: (and why I 4 starred it) - the inside pockets are a bit too baggy so things stick out when worn - only available in the "relaxed" i.e. baggy cut. if you're not slightly overweight this wont fit you well (thought its still decent), just like many competing similar hooded jackets. I'm 5"11 and 182lbs (so not super slim by any means) and this is just too baggy for me at my size. Going one size up, arms and lengths are ok, going one down, too small, and in either case, i can pretty much have another jacket under this jacket, plus regular clothing. Had to return it, even though I wanted to love it.

Very nice coat
My husband really likes this coat. It's very warm and durable. His only complaint was that the hood isn't detachable and is a little bulky. Otherwise he's very happy with it.

Just as good as a Carhartt equivalent.
Looks: I like the dark brown color (Tobacco) and the fit is perfect. I'm 6'1" 195 lbs and I could definitely wear a hoodie underneath without it getting too bulky. No defects at all, same triple stich as others. I like the small Dri-Duck logo on the left hand pocket. Warmness: With just an undershirt, flannel, and the jacket on, I'm comfortable at 40, maybe even 30 degrees F. The hood holds the heat in and is very functional and warm. It's a heavy jacket (4 or 5 lbs) and with the canvas shell and quilted lining, you don't need much else on underneath to stay warm while being active. Being stationary and outside in this jacket may get you feeling a little chilly so add a layer.

Dri Duck
This is a great coat. This is a replacement for one that I have worn for years. Very warm and easy to layer.

Reminiscent of the good ole carhartt jackets
Since Carhartt stopped most domestic production, and starting making huge huge oversized lower quality clothing i needed a change. I have had 4 older carhartt's from the late 90s that i wore every day to work for years and years! They were great, tough and wore true to size! I was always a medium so never had a sizing issue. Since then i looked at the newer ones and could not believe how huge they are. Not only that but they have lousy components such has buttons, stitching and zippers. Long story short i looked at all the leading competitor's products and walked away with an uneasy feeling not buying any. The Berne jacket was true to size but the arm lengths were 4" too long, and the pockets were shallow and the elastic around the waste was overly tight making the chest and belly area puff out!. The dickies was just flat out cheap. It looks cheaply made and the duck shell was low quality. I dont even want to continue talking about it cause they too have fallen victim too overseas corporate buyouts. C.e. Schmidt the tractor supply brand was basically the same as the dickies but for some reason fit and finish was a little better quality. I did not care for the zipper as it is weak. I think this may sound strange but it lacks identity and charisma that i believe carhartt used to possess. It was just an ok jacket that may give you a couple hard years of work Walls bomber hoodie jacket(sherpa lined) i think could be a potential "decent" jacket. It reminded me honestly of a polished up dickies jacket... Here to find out they are owned by dickies and manufactured in the same offshore plant. I was turned off by it all cause Walls was a great american company at one time. Enter Dri duck. Could not find in stores so i took a gamble and ordered one on amazon. I ordered my usual medium and when it arrived i was shocked at the heft of the package thinking here we go again...another jacket 3× too big. As i began to open it i was impressed by how soft the duck shell was. Very Finely brushed and broken in, yet reeks of toughness...very unique qualities. Upon putting on it was apparent that the jacket was perfectly proportioned in its length, width and sleeve dimensions. The flannel lining is soft and feels of quality. The stitching that secures the flannel and polyester filling is TIGHT! With no loose threads. Shocked! I then zipped up the big zipper and realized it was shockingly similar to the old usa carhartt's of the pre 2000's. It zipped up perfect and shows heft and quality. The cuffs and waist and excellent, Not too tight and not to loose. I am able to raise my arms and the sleeves or waist do not rise. The hood is perfectly sized and not bulky at all, could accommodate a hefty hat plus hood just fine as well. The inner lining of the sleeves are nylon and provide easy putting on and taking off task. This is truly an "active" jacket that is true to size. To sum this up i believe we have a company that is dedicated to quality as evident in the Cheyenne jacket. This jacket has all the qualities of the old usa Carhartt's without the badge and premium price. This jacket has " identity" and "charismatic" qualities not found in the land of Dickies and company. Dri duck is now all i will where for our cold northeast Ohio winters. Buy it... You wont regret!

So the positives of this jacket are: Strong and durable feel Good fit for an L size Feels warm and insulating Sleeves end perfectly Two deep inside pockets my only downside would be the outside pockets are shallow Otherwise an amazing jacket, although a bit on the expensive note as in US its for 99$ which is a lot cheaper than UK price.

You absolutely can not go wrong with this hooded jacket. I love it. I am planing on purchasing another colour, that is how much I love it. It is made roomy, so purchase your habitual size...you will have ample room for a good polar fleece sweater underneath when it gets colder. This is very well made with comparisons to a well known brand like Carhartt at a fraction of the cost. I definitely recommend you purchase this.
