Suck it!
I hope this one lasts longer than my 7 year old one. I love the mechanism that secures the suction to the surface. The latch makes it so easy to stick the mount just about anywhere. It is super easy to use and for anyone with little or a lot of strength. It's smaller than some other mounts on the market, but it's ole faithful. Sadly it doesn't have some of the angled mounts that the old version came with, but thank goodness I held onto the old one so I can still attach these. The suction does wear over time, there is a thin film on the cup that wears over the course of several years. Use the mount wisely. The mount is plastic, but it's the GoPro plastic which is a lot sturdier than others.

Astonishing suction
Sticks like it was bolted on! Used on the outside of the car on the racetrack at triple digit speeds. Zero complaints about this!

Worked well
Attached to the interior of the windshield. Held well. Fairly steady. Used to make GoPro a dash cam.

All others are imitations
This thing is sturdy. Plastic is thick and the suction cup is robust. They put grooves into all the rotating joints which means that nothing moves once it's tightened down.

mostly good but questionable return management!
Got this for my off brand camera (AEE) and it mounts very nicely with the suction cup. The only tricky part is mounting on some surfaces if you don't firmly press the centre area next to the lever. A lot of reviews complain of it falling off and in my few uses, it helps to press the little circle area, fiddling around with that. The lever should feel harder to push down for a better hold!I used it on my home window and various airliner windows. 4 stars only because it seems like mine was a returned item?! The box had a tear and the suction cup was dirty... amazon can do so much better with return management but never expect them to.Value is ok, removal from surfaces is very easy.

Didn't pop off on a hot day on the Interstate
I was about to take a trip through southwest Wisconsin going to through northwest Illinois and I know that the terrain there becomes very interesting with explosed limestone cliffs so I thought that I'd document the drive (about 300 miles both ways).I cleaned the hood of my truck where the suction cup was going to go with alcohol wipes and then affixed the mount. As always, I attached a line to the camera and mount just in case.On my way there, I mostly stuck to freeways and state roads but on the way back I stuck mostly to rural roads to get more interesting scenery. The return trip was significantly more bumpy (and warmer...it the 90s) than getting there and I couldn't be happier with how well this mount state attached. At some point of interest I didn't use a GoPro but used a one of my Akaso cameras instead. It mated perfectly with the mount.

Amazing
Awesome GoPro mount. I used it to make multi time-lapse videos in the car. It only fell once when I first got it and probably was user error. Never fell down again after I figured it out.
