GoPro Suction Cup Mount (GoPro Official Mount), Black

No idea what magic gopro put in this mount. I've bought these mounts before from other sellers and they loose it within a few suctions to the car. But this mount is rock solid. Flying through the mountains in scotland? No issues. Super long bridge in obx with 30 mph winds? Didn't even flinch. Hitting massive potholes in the highlands? Not a wiggle. 80 mph down a crazy highway? Not a problem. Took it on and off multiple cars with no problem. No clue why it's so good for some reason. It's got a bunch of mounts which are cool i guess but all that matters is your gopro is screwed on tight and not floppy. If the gopro is floppy that momentum will pull the mount off.

Love this mount. Very happy with it. Got it for drifting specifically and it’s more than met my expectations. Pretty versatile, you can do quite a few angle with it. Very sturdy! For reference: had this on dirty cars, just a quick wipe down of the area with a cloth, and it DID NOT BUDGE. No wiggling as far as I can tell either. Entries averaged at about 55-60mph, meaning they hit the turn and got sideways quick, going that fast. Had it on and off cars all day long and it kept suction each time. 100+ temps not including the extra heat off the cars and course. No flying GoPro for me! Yay! Taking it off was quick and easy, no damage to the paint either. Takes about 10 seconds-if that, to get on and angled how you like it. Definitely recommend and WILL be buying a few more of these.

I'm not sure why I'm just now buying an actual name brand Gopro suction cup but this is my first one. At first glance the suction cup diameter is much wider...about 3" where my usual mounts are 2". This is all a rough guess on my part. The reason I bought this was to go with my slightly heavier aluminum Gopro cases. I wanted something slight larger diameter but didn't want to use my 6" suction cup mounts. Anyhow, this thing works amazingly well! I like to mount Gopros on my vehicles while driving and never had an issue with it coming detached. Including the one time I forget to tether it to the vehicle driving from Santa Rosa to San Francisco! I was worried to say the least but it held tight! FYI: I've read a lot about people having issues with the Gopro suction cup mount or similar mounts coming detached or loosing their suction. I have made countless youtube videos with me mounting my Gopros all over my vehicles, usually 2-3 independently mounted Gopros. As of today I've only had one suction cup loose it's suction. My secret to this is making sure the surface if smooth and clean! I always washing the surface down with water. Just pure some water over on the area and whisk it away with your hand...be mindful of any watches or jewelry. I make sure to leave the area slightly damp...not soaking wet but just enough to wet the suction cup when applying it. If it slides around, I'll wipe the area some more but don't dry it completely. I've had great success with this method and it's worked up to at least 85 mph! (Texas has some posted 85 mph speed limits).

Sending it back only because the suction pad was so worn down when I received the product. It was very disappointing because I could not use one of my gopros. It fell within seconds and after trying to install it again it fell again and I didn't want to risk damage to the gopro so I didn't use it. Great product I'm sure just would have love to see them change the suction pad is all. It looks and feels really sturdy, just make sure they send you a new one or at least a new suction pad.

Took a trip out west (New York To California) and bought this specifically for the journey. It worked like a charm, I got amazing footage of America with no worries of it falling off the window. All in all a great prodict

Super strong suction, does not fall off my car. Easy to adhere, as well as as to detach with the lever. Made really well and worth the money.

I hope this one lasts longer than my 7 year old one. I love the mechanism that secures the suction to the surface. The latch makes it so easy to stick the mount just about anywhere. It is super easy to use and for anyone with little or a lot of strength. It's smaller than some other mounts on the market, but it's ole faithful. Sadly it doesn't have some of the angled mounts that the old version came with, but thank goodness I held onto the old one so I can still attach these. The suction does wear over time, there is a thin film on the cup that wears over the course of several years. Use the mount wisely. The mount is plastic, but it's the GoPro plastic which is a lot sturdier than others.

No tengo nada con los accesorios y repuestos de otras marcas, algunos están bien fabricados y el ahorro podría ser más o menos sustancial (yo tengo accesorios de otras marcas y no me han fallado... dije "fallado", que no significa que me guste el diseño y la totalidad de sus materiales y construcción). Ahora bien, cuando se trata de algunas piezas (como esta), la marca sabe perfectamente lo qué está haciendo y sabe para quiénes lo está ofreciendo. GoPro tiene claro que tiene que ofrecer accesorios con un margen de fallo prácticamente reducido a cero porque el usuario de la cámara puede ser exigente (o imprudente) y, como en este caso, la ventosa será el soporte de la cámara (por supuesto, con el contenido que a veces es lo más importante) en algunos momentos y lugares donde se quieran tomar imágenes realmente buenas. Yo la compré después de ver varios videos y reseñas fuera de aquí y, sin mentirte en lo absoluto, no estoy arrepentido de haber escogido la de GoPro. En cuanto se adhiere a la superficie (obviamente lo más plana y limpia posible), prácticamente no hay manera de quitarla a no ser que la liberes del seguro. La usé, hasta el momento, en cristales en movimiento y, ni el movimiento ni mi mano con fuerza considerable, pudieron hacer que se desprendiera. Desde luego, con esta o con cualquier otra, te sugiero que evites superficies de concreto, maderas, obviamente telas, etc., esto ya es un poco de sentido común y, aunque parezca que sí quedó adherida en algunos sitios, no te sugiero que la descuides sin asegurarte de que no caerá. Insisto, es sentido común y precaución. Lógicamente si recibe algún golpe accidental muy fuerte irá al suelo, pero básicamente es lo único que se me ocurre que podría despegarla junto a una mala colocación en la superficie. Puedes agregar un cordón si eso te hace sentir más confiado o, de plano, optar por otro mecanismo de sujeción como una pinza o lo que se te ocurra. Al inicio es un poco complicado seleccionar la configuración de piezas que deseas para montarla en la dirección que la necesitas, pero después de un tiempo de usarla te acostumbras y eso deja de ser un problema. Un consejo: guárdala siempre limpia, sin tierra, polvo, grasa o mojada, y en un lugar sin humedad y lejos del sol. Eso hará que la ventosa dure bastante.

Ottimo prodotto, molto versatile, con i vari attacchi trovi subito come posizionare la Hero come meglio credi ma la cosa più entusiasmante è stata la ventosa, ottima tenuta, basta spingere bene il bottone centrale e abbassare la levetta che non la stacchi nemmeno con le tenaglie, sul vetro dell'auto è perfetta. Sono rimasto soddisfatto, devo dire un po' caruccia come prezzo ma se fa bene il proprio lavoro, come spero, sono soldi spesi bene.

Suction capacity is very good, however as precaution I tie it with a shoe lace for double safety. Very good product and build quality also very nice.
