BOSS Audio Systems ATV25B ATV UTV Sound System - 6.5 Inch Speakers, 1.5 Inch Tweeters, Full Range, IPX5 Weatherproof, Bluetooth Remote, Built-in Amplifier, Golf Cart Compatible

I was looking for a new sound system for our old Jeep. Options were a bit limited due to the design of the Jeep... especially limiting were speaker options. I wanted bluetooth so I could play podcasts and youtube... I searched for hours before stumbling across the BOSS AUDIO ATV25B. At first I thought it wouldn't work but after searching YouTube and Jeep forums I decided to try it. If it didn't work for the Jeep I could find other uses for it. I installed it in the back "trunk" area of the Jeep.... ran the wires under the carpet and wired the 12v + wire into a switched power source. I secured the bluetooth controller pod to the center console to allow for easy volume and track changes. I turned on the key and hit the center button on the bluetooth controller to power up the speaker system and searched for BOSS AUDIO bluetooth in the systems settings of my iPhone. It synced easily and I was playing music in seconds. Installation was REALLY EASY!!! The sound surprised me. The bass response is really deep. This is probably exaggerated by it being mounted in the "trunk" which is a small space and the speakers are facing the rear door so the bass bounces of the door. It gets LOUD..... much louder than I expected. The treble is somewhat muted ... again most likely due to the mounting location... but overall the sound is acceptable. If your phone has extended settings for audio that allows you to adjust the bass and treble levels it would help a lot. Maybe a 3rd party app??? Overall.... this has exceeded my expectations. Easy to install.... syncs easily and quickly.... with most radio stations offering apps it allows you to listen to your favorites via your phone or tablet..... and Pandora - YouTube - why pay big $$$ for a new system when you have everything on your phone.... all you need is this speaker system!

Have had this for about a month and a half. Use it on the back of my truck while welding. Loud enough to overpower my Kubota diesel at high idle. Loud enough to be heard in a ditch 30 feet away, over the Kubota diesel. Great quality on the speaker box from what I have seen but I have not gone over it with a fine tooth comb nitpicking every detail. Performs as they said it would, plays music, Bluetooth from about 40-50 feet away but any obstructions will easily disrupt it. The only issue is the supplied 12v power cord, specifically the socket. When you plug the speaker in it tends to push the male side back out somewhat and if you bump it they will move farther apart cutting power. It won't come completely apart but just enough to where the contact is broken and the speaker powers down. Simple fix was to order a Marine grade Car charger/aux adapter. I have suggested this to friends and will buy again if this one ever decides to lay down on me.

Pros: The tube is very well built. Rubber corners to help absorb a lot of the shock. Very, very, easy to install. Especially with a 12v outlet already built in to my ATV. Sits nicely on the front wrack of the CFMOTO CForce 500. Tube looks a bit bulky. Yet, doesn't seem so massive on the ATV. Easily connected to my phone via Bluetooth. Speakers are loud enough to be heard with the engine running. Volume controls on my phone and the remote work well, and are also very easy to use with gloves. Cons: Seems to lack a bit of bass. I expected a little more. A higher volume would be nice. I imagine on the trails with other riders, and their stupid loud exhaust, the music might become almost inaudible. The Bluetooth is very weak. Signal starts to become lost after moving only 10 feet away. 20-30 feet causes complete loss of signal. I hate the idea of leaving my phone on the ATV while I step away to do something. Especially at an off road park. The remote could use a couple more buttons. It isn't super intuitive and is a bit confusing to understand at first. I have also accidently reset a song to play from the beginning, or completely skipped whole songs trying to adjust the volume. All due to volume and song skip/restart being controlled with only two buttons. adding two more buttons would be amazing. Overall: This is a great product for the price. A few simple improvements would dramatically improve the overall quality of the system. I would highly recommend these speakers for people that want to just simply enjoy some music while on the trails, sitting in the shed/barn, or just out working. Worth the money.

Just got these in today to put on my golf cart. I wanted just a simple speaker setup and not a full blown head unit deal. These things sound great (Not as great as the ATV80) but I didn't have room on my cart for the bigger speakers so I went with these and I am glad I did, and also glade I got the bluetooth version. My only simple grip so far is that the plug that goes from the speakers to the bluetooth part isn't long enough for my application. But whats nice is it uses a PS/2 connector and all you need to get is a PS/2 Mouse/keyboard extension wire and it will work great. While riding on my golf cart, the sound is clear, just doesn't have bass as its a 6.5" speaker so I wasn't expecting much in that department. The unit does come with two ways to mount it or strap it down. It comes with some long zip ties and some nylon straps. I didn't use either one as I had a place that I custom mounted mine on my golf cart. The 12V plug is nice to have, but again I had wired my golf cart up earlier for 12V accessory plugs. All in all, this will make a great speaker system for a budget price. I will try and update this later to let you know how it still sounds in about 6 months.

Installed this unit on my Suzuki Kingquad 400 ASI, and it produced excellent sound and bass. So far, I've only had 2 flaws. One, the speakers did not properly mount correctly, so they had wobbled back and fourth. From then, I have put the packaging foam underneath it to protect it. The second flaw is the right side speaker has failed to work. It has been blown out, for an unknown reason. There is no sound except from the bass that flows throughout the tube from the other side. Although could be from too much water in the past 2 1/2 months since I have purchased this product. Otherwise, this product performs excellent!

Awesome speaker kids love it while bike riding. I wish it came with bigger straps though I had to improvise with the straps cause I don’t have handle bars on my bike. Other than that amazing product. 😁👍

Works good !!

Very loud, can hear easily when going through the trail with a helmet. Not as easily when doing 50+km/hr on the road. Still excellent quality and waterproofing. 5 stars exactly as i had hoped.

Bought it for the bf's 2017 sportsman 570. Fits on the rack and is as loud, if not louder than my own, which is the previous year's model.

Great sound from this speaker. This was a replacement speaker sent to us because the previous one had a cord rip off. The new replacement has a broken piece though. See photo.
