Perfect replacement!
These were a perfect replacement for my old lava lamo bulbs! They heat up quick and last longer than the bulbs that came with my lamp

Just not hot enough.
The volume of an old standard pryamid shaped Lava Lamp is too much for these 30 w bulbs. No flowing action, despite hours of lukewarm "soft" wax teasing... Go for 40-50 w. next time.
