Q: Does it have that "diet" taste ?

I found out the first time I used it that I used way to much and I don't think it really had a diet after taste but it left a little taste, so I will say if you are only using it so that water doesn't taste like water it takes such a small amount to flavor your water and I mean small. I would put an amount amount that covers the bottom of like a 16-20 oz glass add your water and ice taste test it and then slowly add more to your desired taste. I have never used it for anything other than water, but I do know that I want to get some other flavors and they are going to last forever.

Q: Could you use this syrup for snow cones?

I think it would work but you may want to add additional banana extract to it. I'm not sure the flavor would be strong enough withou using 1/3 of the bottle. The consistency would work though as it is a thinner "syrup."
