I used these for sculpey and epoxy small-scale figurines. I do a lot of fun little projects as a hobby- modifying miniatures and creating objects from scratch. Growing up I just used paperclips and tooth picks and popsicle sticks- whatever we had laying around, and at some point I realized I was a Real Adult with a job and I could buy real tools. I grabbed these because the price was nice and there was a variety of tools in different sizes so I could work on normal sized action figures or little teeny tabletop minis. I wish I’d had these in college when doing ceramic projects; they would have been great! So far, so good- I’ve used them for two projects so far (only one of which I have photos of). The rubber tools are fantastic for smoothing clay and do a decent job if you are taking chunks off of a sculpture while also having enough give to let you naturally detail things comfortably. My only issue was that one of the rubber sculpting tools came apart as they sometimes do right at the metal grip, but it’s an easy fix with some glue or extra epoxy. For the price, these are definitely worth it.

These sculpting tools are sturdy and very durable. The black handles on the silicone tools are made of plastic, so I was able to cut the handles on the longer tools down to match the others to make them easier to store. The ball tools have lightweight wooden handles and I haven't had any trouble with them coming apart. (They're clearly meant to be used on lightweight materials - don't expect to be able to use them to etch bricks or poke holes in cement or something like that.) This is a fantastic set of indispensable tools!

These are awesome tools. And I'm excited to better utilize them with more and more projects. The more you use them the better you get at achieving the result you want. These really are very good tools.

Great product so far. Great value for the money. I’m using these for oil pastels and they’re ten times as useful as the barvotti color shapers. However, the glue on one of the metal clay shapers cause the metal piece to fall off! Luckily this is nothing that a little krazy glue can’t fix, but other customers might not find it such an easy fix.

Great value and good quality. I previously purchased the Michael's brand ones and they were god-awful. I'm so so so happy with these. They're nicely milled, no flashing or cuts. Great variety of sizes to work with.

these are PERFECT for me but if you don't ever want to have to worry about the handles falling off then you should buy something else because the glue holding the pieces together is very weak (if it's even there) but if you don't mind gluing them back together a few times at the beginning then I think this set is awesome !! I lovee the dotting tools for sculpting aND for paint! I use the entire set for making clay animal faces for my etsy shop :)) (I'm milosmagicmenagerie if you wanna checkout the stuff I make with these!!)

A good selection, with different sizes and firmness of the clay shapers. The smallest ones are perhaps a bit flimsier than ones I've used before, but the heads are well seated and shouldn't come out. The metal tools are well constructed and I'm sure will last for a long time.
