Amazon Basics Foldable Rocking Chair - Blue

Purchased one of these for my elderly mother to put in her back yard. She loves it, Sturdy, easy to get up from and feels safe that it cannot tip over. She bought another one for her porch. Great value and the sun and weather haven't had any effects on them so far.

Plenty big and sturdy enough for my 230 lbs. plus clothing. Not squeaky. Comfortable, supportitive pillow. Decent rocking, back and forth range. I waited to file a review until I'd used it for several months, several hours per day, to ensure it held up. Had my doubts about some of the plastic frame hardware, but has not cracked or bent. Great value for money. Only slight negative is one of the metal locknuts backs off every now and then and needs to be screwed back down. I may replace it at some point. Still, would gladly buy again.

I spent a lot of time looking at various patio chairs on Amazon. I wanted a chair that was comfortable, sturdy and long lasting. I also wanted a chair that was not hard on my knees when I get up. I got all of that and more from this chair. In fact, a few days after I ordered one for myself I ordered another one for my husband. The first thing I had to do was to use the clip on the side to lock the chair in position. It was ready to go. I was a little concerned that when I leaned back in the chair it might go back too far and tip over. This does not happen so my fears were not justified. The chair is very comfortable and I love that it is a rocking chair. I have had no problem sitting down or getting out of the chair. So far, I have only used the chairs on the deck. However, this chair is easy to fold and is fairly light if you want to transport it. I like that it made from a steel alloy, as I have had aluminum chairs, in the past, that bent. In addition the fabric seems is made of a material called textilene. I googled and found that textilene Is resistant to sun, UV rays and fading. It is also water permeable, so when it gets wet it dries fast. In other words, I am hopeful that the chairs will last. These chairs have allowed us to use our deck more. They are attractive, comfortable and should last. I highly recommend them. Update: More than one year later, I am still happy with the chairs. I left them on the deck all year and they still look like new. Great buy.

I love this chair! It was easy to unfold and refold. The first chair I ordered was a Portal camp chair and it was VERY heavy and difficult to unfold and refold. This Amazon Basics chair is VERY comfortable to sit in and I love how you can rest your feet on the front of the rockers, and the chair seems very stable. It is very easy to get out of too. I had a little trouble locking the chair. I didn't see the clamping device at first, it was folded up in line with the back of the chair frame. It seemed to need to be pushed back to 'catch' on the locking peg. This chair is very sturdy and comfortable. Well worth the price! I was, however, NOT happy with how the carrier left the box so far from our front door, it was very visible from the street and awkward to carry. The box was also damage on one side but thankfully the chair was unmarred. I was unable to write a complaint about that because the usual e-mail was not sent to me about the delivered.

I bought this to put on my front porch, which is pretty small. I absolutely love it. It is sturdy and I believe much more comfortable than a wood or plastic rocking chair. I can follow easily and take it camping or to a park.I am just 5'1"and it rocks absolutely perfect for me, but I think it would be just fine for people as well.

This is a great chair for the money! It's very comfortable. The rocking feature is nice and it also stabilizes at the perfect point so that you don't fall back too far (if you don't want to). There was no assembly at all. I've bought other chairs on Amazon with less satisfaction but this one is great.

I find evenings out on the deck a great way to relax and unwind. One day I found myself thinking, "the only way this could be any better is if I were in a rocking chair." LIGHT BULB! After looking locally and not finding what I wanted (something that folds for easy storage), I searched Amazon and found this gem! I ordered two, just so I didn't have to give up my seat to friends or visitors. (Yep, smart move--EVERYONE wants to sit in it when they see it.) As far as construction, this product is sturdy, folds easily, is made of quality materials, and is well designed. It is on the same comfort level as any other well-made folding lawn chair. I can easily sit in it for 30 minutes without discomfort. The range of motion can be limited depending on where you place the chair, and might be an issue if you are especially short-legged. On a completely horizontal surface I find the range of motion to be good (I'm 5'4") as does my husband (5'10"). I find that by setting it on a very slight incline (facing uphill) I'm able to get a broader range of rocking. If you face it downhill you could rock onto the assembly piece that holds the front leg to the rocker and it "bumps" or can even bring your rocking to an abrupt stop. However, it's pretty easy to remedy that limitation--just move the chair! I'm very happy with this product and its portability. It is sturdily made so it is not light, but an adult should be able to move it about without much trouble. Folded, it takes up about the same amount of space as a folding lounger-type lawn chair.

Love it! No issues and use outside in summer and inside in winter. 👍

It's awkward to carry but once set up it's great.

J’étais pas certain que ça serait à mon goût après en avoir vu plusieurs et une que j’ai retourné. Vraiment, c’est un peu plus dispendieux que d’autres mais, c’est mieux de payer plus pour en avoir plus. Je suis TRÈS satisfait de cette chaise jusqu’à présent. Elle s’ouvre et se referme facilement. Je vous la conseille fortement ! Après 3 mois d’utilisation, elle est comme au début, super confortable et très facile à plier et à déplier. Achetez en une sans souci

Ce fauteuil à bascule au look sympa est extrêmement confortable et le dos est parallèlement bien maintenu. Très important pour les dos cambrés comme le mien. L’amplitude de la bascule permet de se balancer agréablement, contrairement à ce que disent certains. Il est relativement haut, ce qui procure une sensation plaisante. Il n’y a qu’une position, ce n’est pas gênant car le corps est bien installé. Il se plie très facilement c’est pratique si on a besoin de le ranger rapidement. Attention cependant pour les personnes grandes ou en surpoids : j’ai lu sur la notice que la charge maximale ne doit pas dépasser 200 livres c’est-à-dire 90,7 kg bien que les matériaux soient solides. Très contente de ce fauteuil !

I really like this chair. It is comfortable to sit in, fairly light to carry around if I want to move it and I think it is very well made.
