I'm confused, is this the moleskin or molefoam? The description says moleskin, but the picture says molefoam. Any help here?

If it says molefoam it is the "cheap stuff", not much padding. If it says moleskin it is the stuff that really protects.

The thickness is closer to 1/8". There is usually enough room in the shoe.

I'd estimate that it's significantly thinner than that. It definitely did the trick, regardless what thickness it was! If you're addressing the general size of the moleskin pieces, they were much more than that, probably 1-2" in girth, but it was nothing that a pair of scissors wasn't able to take care of. I actually chopped up the moleskin to a variety of sizes before going hiking, just to have options with me, and not have to worry about carrying an extra piece of equipment with me.
