OET Speaking For Doctors by Maggie Ryan: Updated OET Preparation Book: 2022 Edition

Firstly, the grammar, especially the singular and plural are not even properly proofread by someone. Unless you are a grammar intermediate or expert, you might even learn and incorporate the wrong grammar. Secondly, conversation roleplay examples. 20 is a lot but with no quality control and lack of medical expertise. Inappropriate usage of commuincation techniques are detected. Lastly, TMI. No context of teaching the reader that this is a 5 minute exam. Reading the book will make you panic because of the sheer amount of listening and speaking skills introduced and you feel pressured to be able to cram all of those in 5 minutes. This is definitely not a suitable introduction book. A concise introduction to what OET Speaking is done better by any video, such as E2language. You might find it useful as a supplementary, but that's all it is.

I am deeply disappointed and feel cheated as the material of this book is just identical to what this author used for her book OET speaking for nurses. I paid twice for the same material!!!

This is a very good book for all oet practicing candidates. The book explains in detail about different questions and sample answers in detail
