Prince: Purple Reign Kindle Edition

I grew tired of waiting for the hard cover edition, which I'll still buy, and ordered the Kindle version. So far, it's well-written and the author tried to give an unbiased review of Prince. The quality of the Kindle edition is excellent. UPDATE: The Kindle edition didn't have pictures; the hard cover book does have good quality pictures, some I've seen before and some I haven't. Is the price difference between the Kindle price and the hard cover book's price worth it? For me, the hard cover was my Christmas gift so the pictures were a nice addition. I like this book either way.

Most details of any Prince book I've read, which are a few. Writer is no fan of Prince, but you get a lot of unbiased info.

I was looking forward to reading this book and it does have a lot of facts about his musical career however barely anything about his life which is why I wanted to read the book a lot of details about the dates songs came out and his band members not much about prince himself

I really loved this book it came faster than expected but I don't mind I am going to get more books about Prince this is the first one so far that I got

Several facts were askew. Prince's son's name was not "Boy" as quoted in the book.There was not much detail.

Great book

Reading this book makes me feel like I'm on the inside with Prince, just slightly out of reach. Kind of like that fly on the wall. Prince will always reign!!

He did a lot of research, but so many little things obviously wrong, and just bad writing a lot of the time. Learn to spell “forever”, not for ever.

A book about prince... not bad..a few errors

Banale, molto superficiale e frivolo. Non affronta in modo approfondito la figura e il pensiero di Prince, ne tanto meno la musica; non contiene nessuna recensione o approfondimento artistico. Si concentra sui primi anni e racconta i seguenti 25 in un quarto delle pagine. Sembra un libro scritto molti anni fa e tirato fuori dall'autore ora, aggiungendo un capitolo introduttivo e uno finale.

Buen libro, bien documentado, escrito y respetuoso pero sin dejar de ser crítico. Es recomendable su lectura para quien quiera conocer a Prince
