This works perfectly when paired with a magwell vice block. Holds the gun open and allows for cleaning the bore and easy removal of the charging handle and bcg.

Perfect fit for an AR-15/M4, does the job as intended. This is a small item but a quality product. How I ever got by without is beyond me. There's not a lot I can say in this review other than it is well made and the perfect device for keeping the upper and lowers separated while cleaning or doing minor maintenance. Think I'll probably order one for my son and maybe a spare for me. Highly Recommended.

Simple, inexpensive and it does the job it's supposed to do. It leaves an AR-15 opened at about the perfect angle for cleaning the barrel. I may replace the locking clip because it's almost wire-thin but that's no big deal. I have a drawer full of them in my shop and all hardware stores carry them. They cost next to nothing. On the other hand, the one that came with it will do the job but I just rather have a heavier one.

Works as intended but I clean with my upper and lower separated now, its just easier that way for me with my cleaning cradle, plus you're gonna have to separate the upper and lower anyways if you want to do a thorough cleaning. When I did use it, it worked great although its kinda pricey for what it is.

About 5 years ago, my old AR mag-well vise clamp wore out. It was a cheap one and I'm elated that it broke, because I found Plastix Revolution/No-Mar tools. I bought the mag-well block from their website and later found them on Amazon. I've used their AR mag-well block, their AR trigger test rig (prevents damaged/busted lower receivers), and now the cleaning link. I can't say w/ 100% certainty what the tools are made of, exactly, but it's obviously a strong polymer, and I'm pretty sure its a type of Delrin. Strong, solid, very lubricitous, and lasts forever.
