This is as good as any name brand tool, it's well made, durable, and priced right too.

Excellent product as described. I used this to cut a downspout for a rain barrel installation. The cut it made was easy, even, and effortless. The handle, blade, and connections are sturdy and well made. The saw is balanced in my hand and worked as intended. I would purchase it again, but I doubt that will be any time soon as this saw will remain a part of my toolset for many years to come.

This hacksaw with the included blade performed exactly as I hoped for this price. It easily sawed two unicycle seat posts. And I'm confident the blade could handle two more of these before replacing. These seat posts are made by Club. They're chromed steel, 25.4mm in diameter, hollow tubing about 2mm thick. It's not as if the steel cut like butter. I spent close to four minutes on each post just applying enough downard pressure to keep perfect contact without forcing anything. I may have noticed the blade was dulling (the change was subtle) towards the end of the second cut so I'd suggest investing in an additional blade or a superior one if you need to make four or more similar cuts - such as shortening the steel legs of a desk or table. The saw was easy to use despite being shipped with the blade turned in for safety. I simply twisted the nut with my hand and flipped the saw. The handle then fit my fairly average hands well for a couple of cuts on steel tubing. Despite the fact I am only rating this a 3 for sturdiness it gets 5 stars. I believe that it is an excellent fit on value for money. I would only add the caveat that of you find yourself frequently cutting heavier duty materials then you should invest more in your hacksaw. I'd say this is the perfect saw for occasional cuts of small hollow steel parts, pvc 4" and under, copper tubing and the like. You may be able to achieve superior results with better replacement blades. And you should invest in something more significant if you know you'll be using it multiple times per month.

I used it to cut a water faucet connector made with solid brass. I have very limited space to work with, and the 45 degree blade angle solved the problem.

I don't think you can beat the value you're getting here, unless the blade lasts for a lot of use. The saw feels sturdy when in use, which obviously is critical for safety reasons and the quality of a cut. I used this to cut a piece of metal for a garage track and it was no problem. However, given the price, I would not expect the blade to last a particularly long time, but that remains to be seen.
