Keson OTR18200 Open Reel Fiberglass Tape Measure Reel (Graduations: ft., in. 1/8), 200-Foot

We had to replace another 100' foot tape measure we had that was made similarly, but the handle broke off of it. We bought this one as a replacement, and it works fine, but it seems like it is harder to wind up than the other one was. Its not as "smooth" a turn.

Been using these for years. Prefer this brand because they hold up after getting tossed around the fields and trucks. Still Crank in as designed after a few years of use compared to kobalt or dewalt or some other top brands that gum up or break a plastic gear within the first 6 months.

While I like how fast it reels back up.I was a little confused measuring in 10 inches to the foot. I should have looked closer to the description. I will order the replacment tape with 12 inches to the foot

Bought based on some of the reviews. I use these daily for my job. 1st use, the reinforced hook started to come apart. By end of week, hook broke off completely. Paid more than I usually do for a measurer and very disappointed.

Less than 6 months of minimal use and you can't real it in any more. It wobbles and gets tight to the point that is is a hassle to even wind it up.

Worked good the first time I rolled it out, but kept tightening up and was a bugger too reel up every time after that. I tried multiple times to loosen this but it never worked.

I ordered 2 of these, used them several times now with no issues.
