Jensen JTA-475 3-Speed Turntable with CD, Cassette & AM/FM Stereo Radio

I got this for my Mom, she loves it, the simple remote and the sound suits her perfect. Setup was super simple. It's a very compact unit so it doesn't take up much room at all. If you're an audiophile, this unit isn't the best, but for the needs of what and who I got it for, it's perfect. The unit does have a great appearance. I haven't tried the bluetooth as she probably won't use it.

I am a first time owner of a record player. I'm from the CD/MP3 generation, with parents in the vinyl generation. I became interested in vinyl records seeing that some of my favorite artists still recorded on vinyl. I thought buying this item and records in the future would make for some valuable collectables. I want to break my ratings down in to record/CD/player & AM/FM, speakers, and delivery & setup. Record player, CD player, Cassette player, & AM/FM players all work great. Very impressed with the design and the ease of usage on this item also. just plug it in, throw on the record and crank the volume. Rugged design, doesn't seem like it will break any time soon. 10/10 The speakers are great, but they don't blow me away. I can sense the bass, they are clear and plenty loud enough. 9/10 This item was delivered in approximately 7 days, as I chose the free shipping. Happy with the speed of the delivery, package came and nothing was broken. Like I said before, I took it out, plugged it in, and cranked it up. 10/10 I love this thing so far. It gives me a reason to spend money A.K.A. support my favorite bands. No static, this thing sounds great. Also for the price, you can NOT beat this thing on the market. I will recommend this to any body.

I'm so thrilled! I haven't been able to play my records in 15 years (since 11th grade), and I bought this stereo for the express purpose of being able to play them again, and voila! They play GREAT! Granted, I've only listened to one, but so far, it is playing so beautifully that I had to review it now, esp because it is an old record (and I mean OLD, like from the 60s), and the previous reviewers said that it didn't play old records well. Well I feel like I am in the room with Billie Holiday right now, so yes, it plays them amazingly well, no penny required. The cds don't sound so great, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but I bought this to play records mainly, so I'm a happy camper. It really is amazing how beautiful this sounds, I feel like slow dancing right now the ambiance is so lovely....I'm transported back in time to a smokey venue with Billie on stage in a spotlight songbirding into an old fashioned microphone....and I'm dancing into the wee hours with my love <3

This is easily the coolest thing I have ever seen! The speakers are out of this word in quality, the CD player isn't so sensitive that walking across the floor makes the disc skip, the turntable is great and even handled my slightly warped LPs with no problem whatsoever even with the lid closed. Havent used the cassette function yet (because my old Sony ate all my cassettes, hense why I bought this) but I am sure it is on par with the quality of the rest of the device. Also I can pick up both AM and FM stations that nothing else, not even my BOSE car stereo or my Kenwood car stereo can get and clear as a bell too. Man I tell ya, when I started this things up and I was listening to my old records...this thing was picking up sounds that I never even knew were in the songs to begin with all these years. Amazing stereo!

We bought this for copying old cassettes to the PC. Unhappy with the $20 items that focused on mp3 we were excited about reviews of this and in part based on reviews, and the lack of negative reviews on the cassette player, purchased it, thinking it would last into the future for archiving cassettes and records. Now we wish we had simply gone to the thrift store for an old cassette player. In archiving cassettes, we had wanted to get the recordings off the cassette as WAV files before converting to mp3, thus saving directly to flash drive wasn't something we wanted. Based on our limited experience with the small $20 units we assumed this unit would at least match other options out there. Shame on us for not researching it more, It the was a rash purchase supported with trust based on the Jensen name. The radio works, we have not tried the record or CD players. So this is a review on the cassette player. The only output ports are the RCA Jack's and the headset port. We expected a USB, so obviously didn't research it sufficiently. RCA to computer doesn't work without an adapter, and although we have an RCA to USB that was previously used for transferring VHS cassettes to computer, the audio from this Jensen player was not detected. We ended up using the line in connection from headphone jack to the computer microphone input. It works, but not elegantly, and there was no mic jack on our laptop so it is connected to the PC. More significant, however, is the lack of control of the cassette player. You have three options -play, FF, and stop. No reverse, rewind, or record. or automatic reverse to play side B. It also does not work from the remote. With 300 cassettes to get to wav on the PC we are planning a trip to the thrift store for an old cassette player/recorder that will provide newer technology, or at least a rewind button. We are rather ashamed of this purchase for not better researching this. And although acknowledge we were looking for inexpensive, and that we opted to purchase this because some day we may want to archive records, we regret the purchase. If we had kept the box we would have tried to return it for something with USB output and a rewind button. Again, to be fair, the radio seems to work, we have not yet tried CD or records, and we can't speak to speaker quality. If you are looking to transfer audio cassette look further than this. For mp3 just get the cheap $20 options. We are off to try the thrift stores to get something with rewind options.

Seems like a lot for the money and it is but the sound quality is overall poor. Also, the image doesn't show this but the record is actually hanging off the left side of the unit. This means that can't put the left side of the stereo against anything if you plan on playing records.This is a good product if you're new or just getting into vinyl but I would stay away if you are on the verge of getting serious. The "bass boost" is hardly noticeable, the turntable cartridge is as cheap as you can get, the CD player worked great, the FM radio was fine and I never used the cassette player. Volume control buttons on the stereo itself are painstakingly slow but the remote worked well and was actually faster. I bought this and had it for less than a year before I decided it was not enough for me and I upgraded. One nice thing is that you can pair other speakers including a sub woofer up to this but even then you just won't come close to the sound quality you'd get from a real receiver and turntable.

I admit I was a little skeptical about purchasing this stereo component. After repeated use, I am very happy I purchased it. The sound is excellent and just what I need for condo living. So far, everything is working perfectly--the tape player, the record player, and the CD player. Particularly delighted to have a record player again. Had not listened to my vinyl records for years until now. The remote is not particularly sophisticated--has not power button but other than that, it does the job. Even the radio works well. However, just to be safe I also purchased the 3 year service plan. Hope I do not have to use it.

This is a very nice and well-put together compact sized turntable with a radio. It plays everything - records, cassettes and CDs. The sound is perfect and the price was right! It's easy to set up. My grandson asked for this for his 18th birthday. That's how I found out he was interested in vintage music - the LPs, 45s and 33-1/3s as well as the cassettes and CDs. I was even able to give him some of my old music. p.s. This product was so nice and so compact that I almost wanted to ask if he'd trade it for my larger older one.

The compact is good i have only one issue is the speakers could be better impedence . Improve the output quality
