AdoramaAdjustable Plastic Film Developing Reel for 35mm and 120/220 Size Film

I first used these reels when I was in my darkroom class and decided I wanted to do develop c-41 at home. But the reels that come with the Patterson tank are horrendous and hard to put the film on the track. This reel is 100% better than the standard “sleek” ones that Patterson gives you and makes it very easy to put film on the reel. After using this, I can’t go back to using a different one.

The tabs built into the reel at the film intake make this reel much easier to load. This is especially true with 120 film. This saves me so much fumbling around in the dark…

I am a photography student.We learned how to roll film using the metal reels. However, I wasn't good with using the metal ones. I decided to order this one and it worked great. I never once messed up a roll of film. Great product....I would recommend.

Must have horrible tolerances on the molds used to make these. Destroyed 3 rolls of film by jamming constantly. Utter trash, avoid.

The extra large flanges on this reel make it easy to properly start the loading of 120 film. I have never had problems loading 35mm film in the standard Patterson reel... but 120 film, with no sprocket holes, has always been a challenge for me. The extra large flanges really, really help! These reels are made to fit the Patterson plastic tanks.
