Sound nice. Custom made a little box with a mini amp and an old Logitech computer sub. Definitely recommend using a larger gauge wire then what comes with the speakers. It comes with a bunch of small wire and mounting hardware which is cool. Still haven't ran them to the max. Waiting on a higher wattage amp that will put 160w peak to each speaker. Only running 60w each at the moment. Will update.

I have a monitor at the foot of my bed. I watch shows, movies, and other internet sources through my iPad. I have a cheap receiver that I run the audio through. I already had two large speakers on either side of my bed. Only they are at my head. These little jewels fit perfectly under the monitor. They deliver the most amazing full range of any audio I put thru them. Plus they add the audio to be as if coming from the screen itself. Most certainly worth the price. That was my first set. Since then I have added two more sets. Connected in series, and in parallel with a Sony speaker with a 61/2 woofer. Each side I have stacked three speakers, and built a frame to hold on an dual monitor frame. They look like what we now see at concerts, with speakers stacked and hanging down. The movie audio sounds perfectly coming from the monitor

This 3 way speaker system replaced the front center of my Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Theater 5.1 (DTT2200) speaker system. The Pyramid 2022sx replacement has about the same sensitivity as the previous speaker; but, it definitely has more presence which is probably due to the improved high frequency end. This speaker isn't "high fidelity" and I would not use it my home theater; but in a computer desktop environment it does quite well. I am ambivalent about giving it a 5 star rating because it is not commercial auditorium/movie theater grade (maximum SPL around 85 - 105 Db with no discernible IM distortion). The maximum SPL of this unit is probably in the 70 Db range - about the loudness of a vacuum cleaner. I haven't done any laboratory work on it, just using my ears and guestimateing performance. I can't believe that it could handle 200 watts RMS for more than a second or two. It probably could handle 30 watts peak The computer audio system is fronted by an FjGear 4 port HDMI switch, then processed by a recycled Sony STRDH700 A/V receiver

I used the same video for a Pyle amp, so there's a little more focus on it. That said, for a 1,200 square foot metal shop, these speakers work well enough for me. I've got less in them and the amp than what a boom box would likely cost, and the sound volume fills the area better. For inexpensive speakers, I'm OK with them.

They sounded fine when I hooked them up to the Dayton DTA-1 amp that I just purchased. While they are shy on bass, they seemed fine for the price... then I tried putting on the mounting brackets. Two out of the four mounts broke as I was attaching the brackets to mount them. I hardly even turned them and they inner nut broke loose. I tried unscrewing the speaker to get to it, but everything is glued shut. I finally went off to Best Buy and purchased their $35 Insignia speakers. HUGE improvement in sound and durability. They not only have bass, they are all weather speakers as well. Stay away from these. I would normally say, "You get what you pay for", but in this instance, you don't even get that.

Speakers are nice and sound good. But, these will not work for the TV. Not enough power thru the TV 3.5mm headphone jack. Not enough output power. Had to use on another project. I paralleled with my CD player speakers.

We purchased this speaker pair to use in our steel gazebo and they are an absolutely fantastic value, especially if you can get them on sale. They sound very good, far better than any single point smart speaker. They include mounting brackets and hardware as well as speaker wire. We connected the speakers to a cheap and tiny Class D amplifier that is connected to an older Echo Dot via the aux port for streaming audio. The set-up works perfectly and makes for a very satisfying and inexpensive gazebo audio system. Highly recommended, especially on sale!
