The Dirty Gardener Centipede Grass Seed, 1 Pound

Purchased to fill in bare spot in lawn. Have put out twice and none of it came up. I do live in Central Florida so maybe it just isn't a grass for my area but I would expect some type of germination. Have gotten nothing.

I bought a small bag to treat some patches and overseed others. The seeds germinated pretty quick with the help of some fertilizing top soil and lots of water. Centipede is VERY slow growing which means you need like 2 years before it looks anything like a yard. The plus is that it doesnt need much cutting and has a fairly deep root system if you water properly.

EHHH OK some sprouted many did not.

The grass seed I ordered from you last year was planted in the early summer and produced lovely centipede grass so I reordered 2 more pounds this year to plant this spring. It did take a lot of patience and water but it looks great.

Good product. Planted mixed with potting soil, seedlings in a week. Needs a little TLC but works fine.

Planted strictly as directed but did not see much new growth. My soil probably had something to do with it but it seems to grow weeds well.

Rapid germination and decent shipping time, but decent amount of inert material among seed.

This stuff is incredible. I put down some fertile mix of soil, spread the seed, covered with straw hay—and in 4 days new growth was everywhere.Very pleased and will buy again.
