Great quality strings.

I bought these strings to replace the stock Aquila ones that came on my mid-range Kala Uke. With the stock strings I had quite a bad intonation problem with the C string, at the 7th fret it was almost 1.5 semitones sharp!! I wasn't expecting it to be a string problem, more a build quality issues, but I as pleasantly surprised to find the intonation to be near perfect (which is more than you can expect for most Ukes) with these D'Addario strings. Takes a long time to stretch them out so they don't go flat, but that's the case with all Uke strings I think.

Good sound. Low e string very thick compared to the original strings on my u bass. Top G a real pain to secure. Took a while to stretch but settled down now. Not sure about white strings 😊

Firstly, no issues with the seller- great communication, quick delivery. I bought this D'Addario brand because I've always liked their acoustic guitar strings. The problem with these bass strings is that you need to tie a knot in the end of the string in order to keep it in place behind the bridge. However the nature of the material makes this extremely tricky to do. I could just about manage it for the E, A and D strings, but the G string knot kept coming undone whenever I tried to tighten it. I tried just about every knot I learnt in the scouts, and a few more I invented on the spot, searched YouTube to no avail, and in the end gave up, refitting my original G-string. I don't see how D'Addario can justify selling a string that is actually impossible to fit. To all UBassers out there - choose a brand with some kind of knobble on the end and avoid a whole bunch of headaches when replacing your strings.

The bottom E string is twice the size of the others making it difficult to use, they feel like you are playing spaghetti. I am looking for an alternative, I have tried round wound metal string but the produce too much fret noise. Any suggestions?

En comparaison de mon jeu de cordes précédent, installé par défaut sur mon Ukulele Tenor, la différence est flagrante ! Le confort de jeu est amélioré, bien que ces cordes soient légèrement plus fines que ce que j'avais auparavant, et elles offrent un bon compromis entre un jeu trop tendu et un jeu trop mou. Leur son est assez clair et convient bien à mon modèle en Koa. Il tient assez bien l'accord (après quelques heures de jeu et de ré-accordages successifs) J'ai été amené à changer de jeu après avoir cassé mon "la" (eh oui) et j'ai choisi ce jeu un peu par hasard et il semble assez robuste en plus de ses qualité de son.

Estas cuerdas son de lo mejor que hay en relación calidad-precio en una gama de usuario no profesional. Aunque para gustos, colores...
