Case for Kindle (8th generation case)- Holding Case and Lightest Cover with Auto Wake/Sleep for Amazon Kindle (6" Display, 8th Gen 2016 Release) Brown

After many years, my 1st gen keyboard Kindle finally died. I replaced it with a refurbished 8th gen Kindle. Which meant a new case as well since the new Kindle is significantly smaller that my original unit. This case is excellent. The navy blue is a deep color that dresses the whole thing up. I love that the magnets put the Kindle to sleep and wake it up.

This was not the case I originally wanted, but it fit my tablet and the price was good. I am glad I got it though as it has ended up being a really good case. The leather ( pleather?) Does scratch some and show wear, but I dont mind that. It protects my tablet so that is the important thing. It also came with a screen protector. I like that the magnets hold it closed and also wake up the tablet. I also like the strap to hold one handed while I read. Over all this has ended up being a really nice case.

This case has such an elegant portfolio look. I have an artwork-style case for my kindle fire. It’s very beautiful but I just get tired of looking at the same picture. I bought my 8th generation kindle for simplicity, as just a reader, and wanted a classic looking case for this. I love it so much - if I’m still this happy with it a few months from now, I’m going to buy a similar case for my Fire, as well. On the downside, the screen protector film that comes with it, while it fits perfectly, the attached tab saying ‘front’ is not peel-off, but attached with a permanent adhesive, which kind of defeats the purpose. It will take something to dissolve the adhesive (I use goo-gone), just as it does to remove stuck-on price tags on other purchased glass or acrylic items. I always read with a stylus anyway, so I just threw the film away. I didn’t buy the case because it came with the screen protector. I bought for the look and couldn’t be happier with the case.

This seems more solid than the last cheap case I purchased when I bought my latest Kindle. This one feels good, and the hinge seems a little more substantial. The magnets hold pretty strong, it's not coming open easily by itself. I like the leather look covering. For the price, I think it's a good deal.

I purchased the mid-blue cover for my 2016 Kindle e-reader. I love the color and the cover is classy-looking. The cover is easy to snap on and off the e-reader. The strap on the inside of the front cover makes it easy to hold the e-reader and turn pages with the same hand. I have small hands but can easily tap to turn pages with same hand that is through the strap. It is still easy to access power button and micro-USB port with the cover on. The magnet is strong enough to keep the cover securely closed.

This Kindle case makes it so very easy to read my Kindle. I really like the strap on the case that allows me to hold it in one hand. I ordered the brown case and really like the color and quality of material. I would definitely order from this brand again.

Worked fine. Liked the magnetic attachment for my kindle. But one day a few months of use, the magnet and plastic broke by itself just from opening + closing it. Not very much use to just have to replace again so soon.

It’s a great little case! It’s pretty light and sleek and doesn’t add much weight to the Kindle itself. Easy to put on and not to difficult to remove. When it’s closed it puts the Kindle in sleep mode. The magnet keeps it closed and is easy to open. The handle makes it a lot easier and more comfortable to hold. I would definitely recommend it! If I could change one thing it would be to have the magnet work both ways and help keep it open too. But it’s just a small inconvenience. I use my book light to keep the cover open instead.A little advice before purchasing though: Make sure you double check the type of Kindle you have so you know the case will fit your specific Kindle! I’ve made that mistake before. There are a lot of different kinds of Kindles available and most cases will only fit certain ones.
