I have been trekking for several years.The reason I bought these sticks is because of knee pain. If I trekked for about 2 hours, my right knee was swollen repeatedly.So I bought a knee protector at first and decided to buy these trekking sticks.I experienced one trekking after purchase. I was careful in trekking, but I was able to get rid of my knee pain by dispersing the force on the knee.I want to keep on hiking carefully with these sticks. I also like the grip of this stick. These handles continued keeping dry even though my hands were sweat because of the hot summer.

This set of poles is everything the manufacturer claims and after trying one out, I returned the set to Amazon. Why? 1. When the poles are at maximum extension, I had zero faith in its ability to prevent my forward or sideways fall because I'm sure the tubular aluminum would snap. Reducing the height of the poles readily reduces this problem completely.2. The handy extension lock mechanism is in my view a flawed design. Sure, the poles were meant for balance not to support a person's full weight: Suppose for a moment, one loses balance and must rely on a pole to keep from falling. I did this in a controlled circumstance and the locking mechanism slips causing the pole to collapse resulting in a fall. Yes indeed, the locking mechanism is handy but it also slips...poor design!

Packaging was nice. Poles come in a convenient carrying sack. Everything feels good and the poles come with some nice accessory cleats. Very happy with this purchase.

I used the poles once on a 4 mile snow shoe trip. Today, would have been the second time I used these poles. One of the poles separated at the black adjustable junction as soon as I tried to adjust it. I am trying to glue it back together.....

Mine broke so easy first trip out, I love trekking poles but I wouldn't recommend these. Slightest weight and they will bend or break.

I like these poles, they helped me conquer my first 14er despite having bad knees. That being said both rubber tips fell off within the first mile of the hike. For the price I can't complain too much.

These were exactly what I needed!! I went hiking in. Colorado with my 28 year old daughter and although the terrain was uneven & slippery at times due to the snow and ice, these poles helped me so much navigate the trails. I am so thankful I had them for my trip. Packed well in my luggage as they came with a bag and interchangeable feet.

I love this product. It is so lightweight and very well constructed.It folds up very easily and very easy to assemble. I went back packing with these poles and I dont think I would have made it without them.I would highly recommend these!!!!
