The Eric Carle Gift Set (Boxed Set): The Tiny Seed; Pancakes, Pancakes!; A House for Hermit Crab; Rooster's Off to See the World (The World of Eric Carle) Board book – September 3, 2013

Little Z loves these books and I bought her some more of Eric Carle’s books to add to her collection. The Pancake book was a huge hit and Little Z loves to make pancakes with her grandpa now.

These are exactly as described, and perfect for reading to toddlers. They are the full-length stories in board book form, small enough for a child to hold and turn the pages but large enough to read easily and still enjoy the illustrations. A House For Hermit Crab and Rooster's Off to See The World are better stories than A Tiny Seed or Pancakes, Pancakes! but that may just be my preference.

All the books were there and in good condition. I had no problems with the set and the stories are good selections.

I bought this for my nephew who is 2 and a half. I hope he liked it but I'm not sure because my sister in law never mentioned that they even got the books, but that's not amazons fault. I had them shipped to me and wrapped and mailed them myself. They looked like nice little board books. They were definitely board books with cardboard pages and all because they were far to thick to have been paper pages. I like Eric Carle and apparently the kids do too as he has a lot of products these days and they're getting spendier.

The mother-to-be was delighted. Eric Carle was one of her favorites as a child.

Christmas gift for an 18 month old. She loved them!!!
