With the expanding climatic changes and the worry about the destructive impacts of plastic, it's time we look to more beneficial and ecologically friendly choice, especially when it comes to drinking straws. In fact, some places in the US are already banning plastic straws, and have gone the paper route. However, that still consumes a natural resource, and while recyclable, doesn't fit the whole "reuse" mantra.With that being said, I purchased these straws to help reduce waste. The straws come with silicone tips, to make the straw a bit softer feeling, however, I found that I didn't need to use them. Using the metal straw straight out of the package was perfectly acceptable. The pipe cleaner comes in handy as well, to make sure nothing gets left behind when you wash them. Being that these are stainless steel, you can also throw them in the dish washer, without any issues.Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase. I enjoy the multiple sizes of the straws, and will be buying more of these for birthday and holiday gifts for friends and family. A+ Recommended.

These SS straws are great, less plastic to go into the oceans and in your body; HOWEVER, when you first start using them be VERY careful....since we are used to plastic straws we take no precaution in placing the straw in our mouths, but these are SS and if you miss and hit your tooth it can actually chip your tooth - just make sure you grab the straw with your lips and dont just stick the straw in your mouth like you are used to with plastic straws. When you get used to using the product the process becomes second nature. Also warn your guests if you they are using them for the first time. Definitely recommend them with above cautionary note.

I bought this set because of the longer straws for water jugs whose plastic straws have either broken or gotten lost. I love that they're washable and they make me feel like I'm helping the environment in a way. The spoolie cleaner makes them easy to clean. I put them in very hot water for a few minutes, use the spoolie then run hot water through the straw to clean. They are also a great price.

These stainless steel straws are great. Every size you could need including blended. They come with tips so you don’t have to feel the stainless in your mouth or accidentally bite down on it. I love the bag, but do wish it was a tiny bit longer. It feels good to have a solution for not using plastic straws, but not liking paper. I would buy again.

They're stainless steel straws. In a variety of sizes and shapes. Bendy ones, thicker ones smoothies. Silicone tips to keep the temperature controlled on your mouth. That's all great. What falls short of a five star rating is 1) the storage bag (see attached pic) which isn't long enough to be able to close the drawstring and not have the straws stick out, and 2) the silicone tips for the smoothie straws are molded too big so when you sip from the smoothie straw, you're trying to create a vacuum both inside the straw and between the straw and the silicone tip. Shortest distance wins: no smoothie for your mouth.

The straws arrived as promised. They came with a canvas drawstring pouch for easy storage. They are the perfect size for my insulated glasses. An NO MORE cracked or chipped plastic straws! I absolutely love the included brushes. With as many different kinds of beverages we drink I really don't want to taste last night's Margarita on my morning ice water.I recommend this high quality metal straws to anyone who wants a sanitary alternative to plastic.

This will fit in the clear plastic Yeti cup lid, that was my reason for the purchase. I have not had a problem with the taste being affected by the straws or the silicone tips. I have an issue with textures the tips do not bother me they help me from hurting my mouth on the metal after using the hard plastic reusable straws the tips are a luxury that I never knew I was missing. The brushes make cleaning the straws extremely easy, i also use them to clean my plastic straws. I would not leave children alone with the straws.

Bought a tumbler and found that my standard tervis straws were too fat to fit it. Decided to give these a try, after reading the reviews and considering the price. They are perfect. The brushes that accompany them for cleaning are perfect too. I have already used my first one. Love them!
