JBJ True Temp Titanium Replacement Heating Element Only, 1000W

A little expensive, but lots of wattage that hooks into a nice looking controller that is easy to use and read. While it has great hating capability and a nice clean look, they WILL fail. I have been through 3, some last 6 months, some last 24 months, but none have lasted longer than that. Expect to replace almost annually, run backup heaters.*somewhat related info, the temp sensor, and controller box both fail with similar frequency*

great heater, wish it was slightly ore compact..

I bought this to replace an existing heating element, I have a 300 gallon turtle/fish tank and the old element just could not get past 76 degrees, I bought a new controller and still the water was 76 degrees. I bought this new 1000 watt element and the water temperature was at 80 degrees in 2 hours. There is no reason to buy the complete set up when you only need an element.
