pro Series TS-B400PRO 4" 500W Bullet Tweeter

ordered 26/03 Received 5/04 (6 days before initial date) in France Impressive by size, especially the magnets assembly (this depends on material, not the case for NdFeB), they have a nice and good finish, pleasant if you like the red color of the central wave guide. My usage is home hifi to be added to high end speakers including RF-63 + JBL 2451 J they are very, very directive, I bought 2 pairs (4 bullets) to shift the angle by 40 °, this is too much, I will finally choose 20-30 °. The sound is not very clear with different resonant frequency not yet identified (I use REW 5.19 a very very nice & free software). I do not like this sound maybe nice in a car; also the reflexion on windows may decrease the directivity problem. I read somewhere the best tweeters ??? not my opinion; I purchased them because the cost was not too high (even with transport and custom fees) and because they were Pioneer. update after a few hours my opinion change; my first listening was with active filters not tuned etc ( a lot of parameters ☺ ☺ ☺ especially, I put a BP filter at 7.0 kHz - 6dB & Q = 6) and recommended or higher LR 24 @ 6 kHz adjusting levels having my ears too close to buletts etc. so finally they sound good; have a nice whistling behaviour but not too present. If at normal distance (minimum distance 3m ) the sound is clear, crisp. If too close they sound is crispy. Last point the 3.3 µF 100 V capacitor MPT type are cheap, probably from Carli (CN), I recommand to use equivalent from another trade. You can appreciate while monitoring your voice on Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston or my favourite Veronique Sanson. my conclusion a good choice for mid range price.. Finally I bought 4 pairs mounted them in wood box. They are turned each by 30° a total of 90° (Hor. sound coverage 120°)

These are simply the real deal. Note: this is NOT a vocal tweeter. This tweeter adds crispness to COMPLIMENT the mid range speakers in your car. I can hear delays and reverb and a more defined stereo image with songs that involve high frequency panning. I recommend mounting these in the back of your car to let them cut through the loud bass of your sub and get 4 inch vocal tweeters with an actual moving cone for the front as I do. Do not have these pointed straight at you from the front unless you enjoy pain. Accommodate for this tweeter properly by getting an active crossover and/or use the one on your four+ channel amp (that i know you have waiting for these!) so you can play them at high volume without the ugliness of an amplified signal outside of the frequency range. Make sure your amp's output at 4 ohms does close to the RMS rating of these tweeters; good power maintains fidelity of the sound throughout the volume range. Let your Crossover frequency be 180-120hz, no higher. Let the attached capacitor and physical properties of the tweeter do the rest of the work or it will sound very thin and unpleasant. If you are like me and like for those high hats to stand out clear even at low volume, install these near the back windows! Yes they are heavy. Yes they are really 4 inches in diameter Yes the mounting depth is probably to much for the door (without special mods) No i would not use these to replace your door speakers *For super highs *Not for the entire vocal range-plays more of the air and the breath in the song (One comes in a box. If you don't have the money for 2, get the 3-1/4 inch versions of these that are sold in pairs)

This thing is insanely loud and clear, the best on the market, just buy 👌 believe me you won't regret it. Worth it I bought six of these monsters warning don't mount nearby extremely loud, which I like

I purchased 3 of them for my home audio system. I'm amazed how good they sound and look. The magnets are huge the biggest I've ever seen on a bullet tweeter. the magnets are 3.5'' wide and 1.3/8 deep no complaints here. Nice product regarding to sound but the red stripe fades after a month and does not looks good.

These scream in a good way. The diver is big and heavy might make installation hard but it's worth it. Recommend having a clean amp with clean/shielded signal or you're gonna know when they're on (same for all speakers).

Excellent. Very premium product. Value for money. Very loud, crisp & pleasing treble. Very high sensitivity I dont recommend it for car audio. Because, the treble will blow your ears. Best suited for outdoor and home audio. I really love it. And this single piece weighs 1.7 Kgs! Very big and powerful magnet! Hats off to Pioneer for selling the most powerful tweeter (500w max, 200 Watts RMS) in the market, at such a low price..

Este si aguanta el amplificador que le pongas, tiene muy buena potencia y SPL (volumen). De hecho en mi equipo, opaca al bajo, por eso tuve que ponerle filtro de menos capacitancia para que se oiga mas fino y no tan fuerte.
