Very good speakers especially for movies .
This is really good speakers especially considering the price . Overall sound reproduction is fantastic , There is a lot of clarity and openness to the sound and the credit goes to the horn tweeters . Sound stage is very wide and you can hear every single detail of the music you are listening to . Female vocals are superb on these ,it's like the singer is in the room with you .. Male vocals it depends on the tonality of the singer and how the recording was done but overall is good but not best to my ears . Bass is really good ,punchy and goes very deep to the point that you don't necessarily have to use a subwoofer . Also these speakers are very forgivable to poor recordings ,compared for example to other speakers that I had (Elac debut 2.0 b6.2) they liked only good recordings, you could here the quality degradation but not on the Klipsch it makes poor recordings sound good also . The only big issue I found is that these can be very bright depends on the recording of the songs . I encountered songs that I wasn't able to listen to in more than low volume because of this . So my recommendation is using warm amplifier and dac to compensate for the brightness . For movies its a match from heaven.. very very good ! ,its like you are in the movie and not just watching from the outside , I would have given it 10 stars for movies if possible :) Now after using them for 6 months I was getting tired of the brightness and I switched to another speakers The Triangle BRO3 that I found to be just perfect for music with the right balance of treble mid range and bass though less punchy and deep compared to the Klipsch . But still when I watch a movie I immediately switch to the Klipsch ,they are that good for movies ! So bottom line is, if you have the right gear to compensate for the brightness these speakers are superb .

Worth the Cost
Replaced an older pair of Yamaha tower speakers that had 12 inch woofers, six inch mid-ranges and piezo tweeters with these. The sound is much cleaner, just as loud and flatter base. The magnetically attached grills are awesome if you like to 'watch' your music. A little too much treble as some others have reported but I just adjust the amp accordingly. Also added a pair of Klipsch 12 inch powered subs. My system shakes the walls in my 20x16 barn/workshop. Luckily my neighbors all love my music.

The RB-61ii is a true winner!
Since 1991, have owned several brands of speakers: Definitive Technology, Infinity, NHT, Monitor Audio, and now Klipsch. It nearly killed me to let the Def Techs go, but these Klipsch RB-61ii Reference Series speakers go a long way in making up for it. As background, am listening to ALAC files ripped from CD, run through an AudioQuest Dragonfly Red DAC, and then into a modest SET/Class A tube amp that is feeding the RBs. The amp is a 2.0 system, so no subwoofer is involved. With the cables included, and taxes excluded, all of these audio elements sum up to $900. Frankly, I love this modest system just as much as my old $8000 system! Am endlessly amazed at how lively, airy, silky smooth, crystal clear, and invigorating the RBs sound. Whether playing jazz, opera, techno, trance, rock, country, R&B, new age, classical, or any other type of music (obviously, I appreciate a diverse range of music) through these speakers, am forever thrilled with how lush and real the musical instruments and voices sound! For better or for worse, this awesome little system also makes it easy to hear the restricted dynamic range of poor recordings while enabling excellent recordings to sound so amazing that it will have you simmering in delight! Midrange and treble are in perfect proportion to one another, with not even a hint of brightness. Am also a bass head, and was originally planning on introducing a sub into this setup, but am so satisfied with the deep and rich (but not boomy) bass that the RB fluidly creates that a sub would add little value. Understood that the way a speaker sounds is dependent on the audio elements feeding it, and your system will differ from mine, but I’m EXTREMELY pleased with the RB-61ii. Without spending thousands more, am not sure how you could own a more satisfying speaker. The RB-61ii is a true winner!

Good value, perfect choice for surround sound
I guess these are good value. They look good and sound fine although they are clearly not a first choice for a large sound system. But they are perfect for surround sound in an ATMOS set up.

Older model and being front ported can be benefit
These are an older discontinued model but still available nib. Advantage over newer version is they are front ported. Using for mid surround for atmos. These worked better as need to mount very close to wall and back ports didn’t work. Typical klipsch sound - pretty bright and very efficient. If you like that sound you’ll like these.

After searching for forever to find a suitable speaker to power my low powered valve amplifier I stumbled across these. True sensitivity is around 91-92db. These are perfect for valve/tube amps because they compliment the mellow, smooth sound from them. I would describe the sound as forward, entertaining and peppy ! These are well worth considering due to the great price and size.

Unglaublich, was diese - doch relativ kleinen - Kästchen leisten!
