Nice Tea!
I've had Scottish Teas in Scotland, and wanted to experience that here at home in the US. I bought this after trying some Scottish Tea in teabags (different brand), and feeling let down that there was no boldness or true flavor. I based this choice of customer reviews, and I'm glad I did, because this tea is wonderfully delicious and bold. I've tried it sweetened with milk, alone, and with a touch of fresh Meyer Lemon juice. I like it with the lemon and plain, no sweetener, best! It's sent in a beautiful container and I especially like the doubled up top (see the video for some detailing). The tea was super fresh, and the tightly sealed container tells me it will remain that way for a while! It is not a strong smelling tea, like Earl Grey or English Breakfast, and it has it's own special scent. Pictured, I served it with some avocado toast & feta, and found it complemented my meal well. I also enjoy it without meals, as a nice cup of tea in the morning or afternoon! Because it's such good quality tea, for the price, I'll be purchasing this again, and now will explore their other teas! Enjoy!

Beginners luck? I think not😉
This was my first time ordering anything from Amazon! I’ve been a Prime member for a few years. My Daughter usually orders for me. I’ve been looking for, black loose leaf tea for a while now, none in the,”run of the mill”, grocery stores I go to. I’m happy with my experience with Amazon. Easy to use even for a non tech savvy person like myself! The tea is WONDERFUL! I’m enjoying it very much. I like it for Iced tea. I like it strong, I steeped it for 5 minutes using a coffee press. The outcome was better than I expected, as I left it over night in the press. The next day when I went to make a glass. The colour had changed! It was the colour of Chai tea! It was not chai tea. I ordered Royal Scottish blend from Brodies. I was taken a-back when I first saw it, but what could be so bad? It was so delish! The cloudiness did not matter at all. I can’t explain the colour. I asked my whole family if anyone had added anything to it, everyone said,”no”. It was strong, just as I like it! Perfect for our weather in St Pete, Fl. Hot as Haiti's!!! I’ll continue to order the Scottish blend and I’ll be trying different kinds they carry, as well as a few spoons and some cute tea balls I can use for nighttime cuppa’s! Colour brown damned! It was so very good and did the trick to keep me cool. Lovely canister too boot! Good and strong! I’m even branching out now. I’ve ordered natural Henna light brown hair colour! It’ll be a first, so I’ll let you know how that comes out. I’m a cancer patient, who has been lucky enough to not have lost my hair. So I want it looking it’s best! Thank you for making things user friendly! I’m hooked now, so look out!

Wonderful Gift Item- The Receiver Stated: "It Reminded The Person Of The Old Homeland."
Authentic Scotland Blended Teas From India, Ceylon and other sources of pure teas blended strictly in Scotland. Family run business from the19Th.Century and thriving into the 21St. Century using the same original exact blends of first grade teas. The metal tea container also keeps the contents fresher than any tea bag and with whole leaf in canned tea provides better flavour and aroma. Ii is indeed more costly but as a gift or gift to yourself item, this tea is of superior quality yielding a fantastic gourmet cup of fragrant delicious tea, good by itself or with traditional cream and sugar.

Okay tea, great tin
The tea is okay! I want to talk about the canister first though, since that's primarily the reason I bought it. It's definitely beautiful, well-made, and perfectly reusable. I was unsure if it would come with an inner lid but it did! Even the inner lid is adorned with fleur de lis designs for a wonderful presentation. Seems very airtight and is actually somewhat difficult to open at times. The "Royal Scottish" label on the front is just a sticker, easy to remove so you can label it with any tea you happen to refill the tin with. While the Brodies site doesn't say what the blend is, TheScottishGrocer site says it is a blend of Assam and Ceylon. My first few brews were astringent - I think this is because I used only 1tsp, and it took a long hot brew to get any color or flavor out of it. My next brews were much better. I upped my leaf to two and a half teaspoons, put in a large infuser basket, and used slightly cooler water. Then I only had to brew for about a minute or so to get a great cup, with multiple steeps afterward. I do not add cream or sugar to this but I'm sure it takes it well. Even without sugar, you actually get a nice naturally sweet finish toward the end of a well-brewed cup. I've steeped probably more than 10 baskets of this tea so far, and of those 10 baskets I've pulled out about 4 stems. The tea is inexpensive so I'm not complaining. I'd say this is a very passable breakfast tea, and 100% worth the purchase if you enjoy collecting unique tea tins.

Great gift
Really lovely tea. There's not a lot of tea in the tin, but what's there is high quality and delicious. The tin itself is beautiful and would make a great gift. It came carefully packaged in protective wrap, and arrived undamaged. Overall good value.
