I thought I had bad bags or something but it turns out I didn't put in enough water for my pressure cooker. IF you're using a pressure cooker with these bags to make grain spawn or substrate bags, make sure you put in plenty of water. I put in just enough so that it's an inch under the top of the bottom 5 pound substrate bag.

These bags are terrible . They blow constantly in the pressure cooker .I have used many different vendors - these suck , I wasted so much time and money by throwing away bags that blew .

Loved these bags. They can easily withstand my pressure cooker at 15psi for 2 hours without melting. The are strong enough to stay together through sterilization but malleable enough to be cut when the time comes to remove the substrate blocks. All in all, very happy with the bags.

Very thick & tall bags. Carefully open them as they are all folded together and you'll need a landing place ready, because we were not able to reuse the bag they come in. Other than we cannot get a good seal or suck any air out with any ordinary or nice seal o meal, regardless of price, they've held up well.

I’ve been using these for a few years now and I’m surprised by the numerous bad reviews. The only time I’ve had an issue is when I was using my PC on a propane burner outdoors and brought the heat up too quickly. (No issues if I leave the heat at medium.). Never had an issue on my electric stove top. They seem pretty good to me!

Good product. Exactly as described. Only thing I would say is put the bags in a bag that you can reseal, but that would be an additional cost with no reward, so it's understandable that they do not. The bags have worked well for pink and blue oysters, fruiting from inside the bag. The price cannot be beat.

Bags become brittle after single sterilization

Great bags and survive well in the pressure cooker. The only downside would be the price is kinda high, you can order these in bulk for cheaper but if you aren't going the bulk route then this company is a good option.
