I am a fan of Fram filters. I bought a 1986 Honda Accord brand new and used a Fram filter and standard Pennzoil motor oil and got 363,000 miles on the car. I only got rid of it when the transmission went out, but I could still go between oil changes and not usually have to add oil. This particular filter is for a 2010 Tahoe, and we're around 270,000 miles on it with Fram filters and Mobil1 oil. We don't have to add oil between changes. I'm a fan of Fram.

Was not impressed at first with the filter just sitting in the box, the filter wasn't doing anything. Thought I might have to return it. Once installed on the vehicle my opinion changed. it was actually filtering the oil.
