Will it work on plastic windows?

It will not stick to vinyl windows. if you want to paint vinyl windows with this product, you need to mask off the vinyl with tape, spray this product onto the glass, remove the masking tape, spray the vinyl with a primer for vinyl (vinyl and pcv trim need to be primed 1st before painting), then spray on your paint. It sounds involved, it is a bit more involved, but if you are painting a bunch of windows, this process works very well, and you can get 2 finish coats on very fast. Can I use masking paint for 1) staining and 2) spraying on a water based ext grade acrylic? Thank you!

I used it to mask glass and it worked very well. I sprayed with both acrylic and lacquer based paint Overall it was a very good product

Want to use plain old spray paint cabinets/ would this work to cover hinges?

Yes, the product does everything is claims to do. I used it to mask glass on some French doors I was restoring and worked great. Just brush it on, let it dry to clear, cut off excess and then spray paint. Once done it easily peels off!

Yes... That is how i did it... You want to paint glass and wood with liquid mask. Thin coats are best. Watch for clumps on wood parts. A few thin coats then wait a full 24 hours before painting. When paint is dry, score with knife and peel away...they tell you to use a dull knife to score/cut, but i used razor with better results
