Sounds nice, hard to keep a connection
I bought two of these. Primarily, I ride alone, and listen to podcasts. These are way better than snaking ear buds into the helmet and hoping they don't fall out while riding. Answering calls is a nice bonus, I guess. I've tested it out, it sounds good, but I get out on the bike to . . . get out on the bike. But, for the podcasts and occasional music, it sounds good, feels better on my ears than the ear buds, and the battery life is great.I have the second one for if I've got a pillion. I installed it on my spare helmet, and tested it out a few times. It sounds great, but the problem is that the devices seem to forget each other every trip. As best as I can tell, if they are paired, you have to press the off button and hold it. It will make a noise and you keep holding it. It makes another beep and then it is off. If you don't hold it long enough (easy to do after riding for a while and your hands are cold or stiff or you just have a small spasm and move your finger a bit), it loses the pairing. The only way to get it to re-pair is to erase all of the saved connections (i.e. the pairing with my phone) on both and then re-pair the intercom, and then re-pair the phone. Which isn't that big of a deal, except getting the devices to pair in the intercom mode is a bit tricky. I've never been able to do it while out. Before and/or after a ride, I've got to bring both helmets in the house, clear all connections, and put them next to each other and press the pairing at the same exact time on both helmets. There isn't much margin for error.Installation is tricky, and you probably want to see how much of your helmet padding is removable. I tried on both helmets to use the hard mount, but they wouldn't work with the curves on the helmets. Even with the soft mount, there are very limited places where you can mount the control module where it doesn't bend too far to be able to slide it into the clip. That said, I was skeptical it would hold up well with the soft mount because of the curvature, but after a few months, there haven't been any problems.Once you get the control module mounted, snaking the wires through the helmet is a crapshoot. On my primary helmet, it was easy to remove all of the padding to get the speakers/mic mounted. Putting it back together was trickier with getting the padding to snap back into place. The wires aren't huge, but if the snaps are close enough together it is hard to get them both back into place if you run the wire between them. On the extra helmet, not all of the padding came out, and I've currently just got the wires wedged into place where the padding hits the edge of the helmet. I used a hard plastic scraper for bondo to push the wires in enough that I didn't think they'd fall out, and so far so good. I mean, you only have to install it once, but it took WAY longer than I thought it would to get it into both helmets.Overall, for just the phone pairing, it is great to listen to music without something sticking in my ear. For the intercom, it seems like the functions should be swapped - turn off with a short press, reset connections with a long press. Once paired, it works fine, but setting up the pairing and keeping them paired hasn't been working out so well so far.

Work great!
Battery life is way beyond what I expected! Love having music and answering called mid ride.. Sound quality is great, just wish they were louder (60+mph) it gets a little hard to hear.

Parents love the intercom mode
Got this for my parents for Christmas. They enjoy long drives together on their motorcycle, but we learned they could only "talk" through abstract hand signals when they were on the road. They're in their late 50s, and were able to install the headsets on their own. I helped them with the bluetooth setup. They want on a 4-hour drive through Escalante, UT the next day with their club and were able to talk to each other with the intercom the whole time. It was a game changer for them.My only criticisms are that we couldn't find a way where they could both listen to the same iPhone via dual bluetooth connection (it would kick off one of their headsets in favor of the other) and that they couldn't seamlessly switch between intercom mode and bluetooth mode so they could shuffle between talking and listening to music.

Excellent sound at speed.
Sound quality is great. Install is simple although snapping device on and off helmet will take some effort at first. My only problem has been connectivity with bluetooth and conflict with other devices. It will take some trial and effort if you have other devices as to what takes priority and the such. I have to disconnect my HDavidson Boom radio each time i start up although i know i could "forget" this device and be done with it. It just takes a few seconds and its done. When you go into intercom mode everything else is silent. So if you are receiving directions from an app on phone and you are in the middle of say a series of turns and your riding partner calls you on intercom you can forget about receiving the next direction or turn. Like I have said it will take a few miles to get used to it. Took a 500 mile weekend in trip and by the time we got home we have it pretty much figured out.

Excellent headset, user manual could be improved
My primary use for the headset is the bike-to-bike feature. The instructions for pairing 2 headsets in intercom mode are clear, but the instructions for using the intercom feature could be improved (the instructions are not wrong, rather they are incomplete/unclear). To use the intercom feature, here's a clearer set of instructions:1. To turn headset on, press the power button until a single tone is heard. The power button needs to be depressed for around 3 seconds for the single tone to be heard.2. To turn headset off, press the power button until a single tone is heard. You will first hear a double tone - keep depressing the power button until a single tone is heard. The power button needs to be depressed for around 5 seconds for the single tone to be heard (the double tone should be heard after 3 seconds).3. To activate the intercom feature, on one headset press the power button for 1 second and wait until the triple tone is heard (after pressing the power button, it takes around 3 seconds for the triple tone to be heard). The second headset should hear the triple tone to indicate the intercom is active.4. To end an intercom call, on one headset press the power button for 1 second. Both handsets should hear a single tone.

Works Everytime!
I use the THOKWOK Bluetooth Headset every time I ride and every time it has worked great. The controls are a little cumbersome to use, and you don't always want to automatically answer a call but that was a feature I was grateful for when I got an emergency call while I was riding. I wish the volume went up higher because starting at about 65 mph it starts to get difficult to hear it. Otherwise it sounds pretty good, and it made a huge difference in sound when I actually subscribed to a music app vs using the app in free mode. The communicator between riders also worked great. For $50 dollars you get your money's worth!
