Great bag, used it for multiple camping trips. Plenty of room and the quality of it is second to none. Reasonable price too

excellent bergen although its 52 litres and not 45. could do with a zip pocket in the top pouch, grab strings on the inner zips, but other than that it immediately became my goto bergen.

Tryed many different brands and their interpretations of military backpack, but TT remains my favourite for many years.

First I should say that I upgraded from an Oakley Kitchen Sink pack that never failed me. 15+ years of solid use and only a few minor gripes on that ine. This pack though, this one blows the Oakley pack out of the water. Its a little on the expensive side but the value for money spent is certainly much greater too. Short Version, This pack is big enough, tough enough and durable enough for whatever you need it for and its still the most comfortable to use pack I have ever owned. More Details, Support: This pack has an internal aluminum framework that is specifically designed to help support the weight of the pack and direct the load off of your back to your hips and shoulders. I am over 6" tall and have back issues and this is the best pack I have ever used. All contact points are padded and in a way that never chaifs. Load bearing straps all have seconday tension support and every one of them is adjustable. You can even reposition where the main straps anchor to the pack to better suit your body type and height. Space: the 52ltr. Main pouch is spacious and forms an overall rectangular shape that will hold practically anything you might need it to. There is a pouch for a hydration bladder and ports on both sides for the tube to come through. It has six overall pouches. Two sid. On top one at the bottom that also can be accessed or used as access to the main pouch via internal zipper (to expand the main or let you get at things on the bottom without taking everything out). Finally there is a small pouch marled for medical under the top pouch. Quality & Durability: I have to say that I am impressed. There isn't a stitch out of place and the whole thing is durable, water & weather resistant. Its constructed for rough use in serious situations. Very satisfied with the high quality of the Tasmanian Tiger pack thus far. Customization: In this area this pack shines. Almost every available surface is covered in molle harness. Literally wherever it made sense they made it so. I will admit I went a bit ham on seeing how much I could take advantage of that. I am thoroughly happy with the results however. My favorite is having a collapsible soft pouch off the hip support pad that can hold bottles or keep my hat & gloves when not in use. I do have a rip away trauma kit on the back and several bits of useful gear strapped to the webbing about the pack as well as hook & loop inserts for patches. I love this pack as you will no doubt be able to tell from my novela above. It hits all the points for me. When my previous pack showed signs of needing to be replaced I agonized over what to replace it with. I did a lot of investigation into the best possible pack I could get and this one kept comming up. It was highly recommend to me by those who had tried it as the gold standard and again I feel it was easily worth the price for anyone who needs a serious workhorse of a pack. Can't recommend it enough. I would recommend strap savers of some sort or trimming the excess strap down once you have the fit dialed. There is a lot of them and they give you length on each to make them whatever size you need them to be. Hope this was helpful.

Certes, il n'est pas le plus léger, mais avec le reste du matériel optimisé, cela ne pose aucun problème. Je ne sais pas toujours où je vais ni les difficultés que je vais rencontrer, cela pourrait m'inquiéter, mais pas avec lui. Il est robuste, aussi confortable qu'une berline de luxe, et je parviens à y ranger tout mon matériel pour être en autonomie totale. Il ne craint ni le poids, ni les rochers, ni les ronces, s'adaptant à ma morphologie à merveille grâce aux différents réglages. Si vous avez besoin d'avoir confiance en votre sac, même dans les pires circonstances, alors le Tasmanian Tiger MkIII est sans aucun doute votre compagnon de route idéal.

Wirklich ein großartiger Rucksack! Ich habe schon extrem viele Rucksäcke, vor allem aus dem militärischen Bereich, getestet und Tasmanian Tiger gehört definitiv zu den Top Produzenten und muss sich neben Savotta, Maxpedition und Co nicht verstecken. Das Material ist extrem robust (nicht so robust wie Savotta oder Maxpedition, dafür aber leichter!) und sehr gut verarbeitet. Die Aufteilung von diesem Rucksack entspricht der klassischen "Kampfrucksack" Aufteilung, nur etwas windschnittiger! Man hat ein geräumiges Deckelfach, und im inneren vom Deckel noch ein erste Hilfe Fach im Deckel wie bei TT üblich, zwei Seitentaschen in denen man Kleinkram, aber auch seine Wasserflaschen hervorragend unterbringen kann. Unten sind auch noch zwei Seitentaschen, wo eine Oasis zwar hinein passt, aber wenn der Rucksack gefüllt ist, ist es in den unteren Fächern fast schon zu eng und der Zugriff ist eher nervig. Dafür kann man hier super sowas die Handschuhe, Schnur, Buff und dergleichen unterbringen ohne Sorge zu haben, dass man sie verliert. Den Hüftgurt kann man übrigens entfernen und einzeln als "Warrior Belt" verwenden. Wo der Rucksack ebenfalls glänzt ist das Tragesystem! Das tut TT immer, denn hier werden die Systeme die auch schon bei den Trekking Rucksäcken der Schwester Tatonka zum Einsatz kommen, verwendet und das merkt man. Militärische Rucksäcke sind ja oft eher rustikal im Tragesystem weil auch oft davon ausgegangen wird, das man bspw. einen Plate Carrier darunter trägt. TT bietet hier eine extra Portion Komfort, so dass man den Rucksack über viele viele Kilometer absolut angenehm tragen kann, auch wenn er gut gefüllt ist! Man kann an allen Ecken und Enden (bspw. Rückenlänge) justieren und die einzelnen Riemen sind auch lang genug, dass eher kräftig gebaute Menschen genug Platz haben. In schwarz wirkt er auch nicht zu militärisch finde ich, so dass man mit ihm auch mal Wanderungen mit Hotel Übernachtungen machen kann, ohne das man gleich komisch angeschaut wird. Top! Wenn man die Seitentaschen allerdings nicht braucht, dann sind diese natürlich über. Man sollte sich also vorher überlegen, wie man organisiert ist. Bräuchte man zum Beispiel größere Seitentaschen, kann man diese halt nicht via Molle anbringen. Die Schlaufen sind zwar da, also möglich ist es, mir schlackert es dann aber zu viel herum. Auch die Molle Fläche am Bodenfach ist nur teilweise nutzbar wegen der Halbkreis Form. Das sind aber keine Punkte die mich einen Stern abziehen lassen, weil das klar ersichtliche Punkte sind, die man vor dem Kauf weiß und für sich überlegt oder testet, ob es passt. OutdoorMinimalist.net
