Kassel Large Cuckoo Clock

Made in China is not German, battery operated. However, it is an excellent article and I am very happy to have bought. It's big, it's beautiful. The cuckoo sings every hour according to the times indicating the number of hours, dancing dolls, lumberjack chops wood and mill tour, has several musical sounds for each hour. The watch has a light sensor when it is dark cuckoo sings at dawn if you sing and dance dolls can be disabled so that the cuckoo will not sing and dance no wrists. The watch is amazing and we love at home!.Hecho en China no es alemán, funciona con bateria. Sin embargo, es un artículo excelente y estoy muy feliz de haber comprado. Es grande, es hermoso. El cuco canta cada hora de acuerdo a los tiempos que indica el número de horas, bailan los muñecos, el joven leñador corta madera y el molino gira, tiene varios sonidos musicales para cada hora. El reloj cuenta con un sensor de luz, cuando todo está oscuro cuco no canta y al amanecer con la luz del día el cuco canta, y bailan los muñecos, se puede desactivar para que el cuco no cante y los muñecos no bailen y la hora no se desactiva. El reloj es increíble y nos encanta en casa!

This came with some minor damage, but we considered keeping it because it is so beautiful and big...but I want a Cuckoo clock that will last this is just not one for the long run. Frankly, for price $170.00 you can get the real deal German made clock 2 year warranty and not this Chinese made 90days warranty low quality item. If this was less than $100.00 then it would be "maybe" worth it. The bird kept good time-somtimes. The people usually came out and dance about 40% of the time and the man with the ax and the water wheel worked less than 10% of the time. This was observed over a 4 day period. You know it is beautiful the kids loved looking at it, but for the price you can get something of a higher quality. You may have to sacrifice some of the bells and whistle which maybe a good thing in the long run. I will return it get a German made one of similar cost with just the bird and maybe the dancers. Less extra means less things to go wrong I suppose. I can understand why the reviews are mix it is very pretty allot of work went into it...but I dont have $170.00 to waste and it simply wont last it will not. Nice clock but not a keeper. You would be Cuckoo to blow $170 on this tempoary thing ;o)

Piece of crap, made in China. Never keeps correct time, cheaply made, horrible craftsmanship. When it arrived some of the pieces had fallen off and had to be put back together. In my opinion not worth more than $50.

Nice ornate clock, for the price well worth the money. Gave it a 4 instead of 5 because the moving parts do seem to get stuck once in a while. One of the wires inside when I received it needed to be re-saudered must have come loose in shipping. Otherwise love the look, looks great on a tongue and groove wall. If you like cuckoo clocks you'll like this one!

I thought the clock itself was very pretty and I did like it. When I put it on my wall with in one day a part of it broke (the spinning men). I sent it back and got a refund.

When I bought this, I was worried it would be junky and I would hate it. But Amazon stands behind their products, so I figured, what could I lose? When it came in the mail, I was very surprised! First of all, it looks exactly as pictured--thank goodness!! It is already assembled, so no worries for those of us that can't unfold a paper bag. And it is REAL wood...which I was also worried about. And all the parts really work! The little guy chopping the wood is so cute, the water mill and the little coo coo pops out right on time with his cheerful song. I literally never thought we would own a coo coo clock because they are so expensive--but this one was for my hubby on our anniversary and it was so perfect. He thought I spent a bundle and he was happy with the clock; so it was win win. I would highly recommend this item!!

It requires lot of batteries plus you need to change quite often.

Since when I was a kid I wanted to have a cuckoo clock, when I went to Switzerland I bought one, but very small, so when I saw this clock it caught my eye and I asked my self Why not?, so I decide to buy it. When I opened the box, I was surprised because its a big clock! But an amazing cuckoo clock. All days give the hapiness to enjoy his music each hour and cuckoo cuckoo!
